LAFRUTTA combines artisanal fruit and vegetable processing with a circular economy approach. Excess syrups from candied fruits and vegetables are transformed into natural, gluten-free sauces and chocolate spreads, full of authentic flavors. Sauces are available in sweet, sour, and spicy variations, and new chocolate spreads will be introduced in 2025.
In 2013 Massimiliano Biaggioli - Mammo to his friends - founded his own farm in the Cimini Mountains, in Viterbo-Italy, to focus on growing raspberry, his favorite fruit. He specialized in the artisanal processing of all parts of the plant. With fruit he made raspberry compote, sugar and salt, and powder. But also he gave new value to leaves and stems - the "forgotten parts" - by making raspberry leaf herbal tea and gin.
Thanks to this know-how, in 2020 Mammo founded LAFRUTTA. Here, the artisanal processing of fruit and vegetables meets the circular vision, whereby there is no waste but only resources. LAFRUTTA is original, handcrafted, and circular. Our products are our choices. Everything we do every day tells the evolution of how we see ourselves as food artisans.
