From Kotiņi fields to your family table!

On 10 and 11 September, Kotiņi invites visitors of “Riga Food 2026” to discover a range of grain and legume products grown and produced on the farm. This year, special attention will be given to the newest products – rye grains and rye groats – alongside customers’ favourites such as green buckwheat flour, pearl barley, wholegrain semolina, and many other Kotiņi products.

For the first time at the exhibition, the company will present two new products at the Novada Garšas stand – rye grains and rye groats. These products are a great way to add more variety to everyday meals. Rye has long been an important part of local food traditions, traditionally used for baking bread and making porridge, and today it can also find its place in a modern and diverse diet.

Kotiņi is a family-run business located in Latvia’s eastern border region, where special attention is paid to both quality and transparency throughout the production process. The journey of the products grown and produced on the farm can be traced from sowing and growing the grain to processing and the finished product – in other words, from Kotiņi fields to your family table!

Visitors of “Riga Food 2026” will have the opportunity to discover a wide range of Kotiņi products – different types of pearl barley and groats, grains, legumes, flours, and other products made on the farm. At the stand, visitors will not only be able to purchase products but also meet the Kotiņi representatives, learn more about how the products are grown and produced, their differences and uses in everyday cooking, as well as discuss potential cooperation opportunities.

Separate presentations and masterclasses are not planned this year, but throughout the exhibition, visitors are invited to discover the products and talk about grains and legumes, their cultivation, processing, and use in everyday nutrition.
