New spices, snacks, chocolate, drinks, fish and meat products – discover them all at the food industry trade fair Riga Food 2026 in Ķīpsala from 10th to 12th of September. By new we don’t always mean a never-before-seen product. Sometimes it is rather a new packaging, taste or visual image given to everyone’s favourite product. And this year’s fair has plenty of them – either completely new products or goods that have been on the market for years and are now coming back with a new appearance. Become one of the first to see, taste and appreciate them yourself!
Organic fizzy drinks
This year’s product parade is opened by Latvian Very Berry who will present their organic sparkling Fizzy Drink line at the trade fair. Fizzy Drink comes in seven different flavours. Natural sparkle and refreshing taste is achieved by combining cold-pressed juice, carefully selected brands of tea and carbon dioxide-enriched Artesian well water. Cold pressing and mild pasteurisation keeps the product fresh, full of with rich flavour and valuable nutrients. Tasty, refreshing and colourful!
New line of spice from Pipars
Collaboration between Latvia’s culinary blogger and kitchen punk Pipars and Oak’A BBQ has resulted in a new line of spice mixes that combine Pipars’ kitchen wisdom and Oak’A BBQ’s knowledge about mixing spices. The new line has three mixes – meat, soup and universal spice mix for both favourite everyday recipes and creative culinary experiments. “These spice mixes will make cooking more effortless and quicker, while also giving the food that awesome taste that you can only describe as “this is it!”” Rojs Puķe or Pipars claims.
Potato and pea snacks
Crunchy, light and loaded with protein and fibres. New potato and pea snacks from Latvian brand Nordcrunch come in two flavours – tomato and dill with butter. It is a tasty alternative to regular snacks perfect for a laid-back night at home or the road. Crunch, enjoy and pick your next favourite flavour!
Chocolate with cherries and cardamon
Extra thin, pure dark and surprisingly aromatic, the new addition to the line of chocolates from “Lāči” is an extra thin dark chocolate that fuses together the flavourful Belgian dark chocolate, juicy cherry filling and the aromatic cardamon. The unusual combination of tastes is a perfect match for those looking for something sweet and also delicate, with many layers of different flavours.
Salmon in mango and jalapeno sauce
Balance between exotic sweetness and mild spiciness! These are the best words to describe the new “Banga” creation, the salmon in mango and jalapeno sauce. An amalgamation of delicate Atlantic salmon, sweet mango and spicy jalapeno. Salmon harvested from aquaculture farms in Norway, Scotland, Chile and Faroe Islands has been carefully processed to maintain the natural texture and juiciness. Mango and jalapeno sauce give fish a slightly exotic and balanced taste. Try something different!
Candied berries and fruit
After 15 successful years on the Latvian and export markets, Rāmkalni have decided to change their visual identity by giving its beloved candied berry and fruit products a new look. In 2026, products have acquired a brighter, more modern and convenient packaging specifically designed with active lifestyle and on-the-go ethos in mind. But the main ingredient, love that has gone into top-quality candied fruit and berries from Latvia, remains the same. Candied berries and sweets are still made to match the same authentic taste, maintaining the value of natural ingredients and integrity of traditional recipe honed over many years.
Rusks for mushroom pickers
Autumn and mushroom picking go hand in hand. And you need a crunchy snack to replenish when spending long hours walking in the forest. “Sēņotāju grauzdiņi” (Rusks for mushroom pickers) is one of the three new flavours in the famous line of “Liepkalni” bakery. Made of “Liepkalni” own, everyone’s favourite sweet-and-sour rye bread which has been cut into delicate strips, thoroughly roasted and seasoned with spices.
Caramel popcorn
Crunchy, sweet and colourful POPHOUSE Tutti Frutti popcorn is made of sweet caramel and a touch of fresh summer berries. Although this distinct flavour combination is challenging to achieve from popcorn making perspective, the outcome surprises with intricate interplay between sweet and fresh. Popcorn is made of high-quality raw materials from Latvia and contains no food dyes. A snack that pleases the eye and the taste buds.
Canned pork and chicken
New products from “Kaive” are for those who appreciate simple, easy and tasty meat products. “Kaive” has added two new products to its line of canned treats: “Pork ham” and “Chicken ham”. Both products are 100% made of locally grown meat and the packaged product contains 90% of ham. Both products can be eaten straight away, which makes them a perfect choice for everyday meals or travelling, hikes and long-distance journeys. Just open, add your favourite sides or enjoy as it is!
Protein with the taste of salty caramel
Sweet, caramel flavoured, with a touch of salt … Fiteg² presents the egg white protein with salty caramel flavour made from 100% pure egg albumin. This new product is for those who are looking for efficient source of protein with simple ingredients and easy to use. One 30g dose contains 22g of protein. Ripened semi-hard cheese

Easy-to-cut, semi-hard texture makes this cheese a good choice for everyday meals and cheese platter. Matches nicely with honey, figs, pears and grapes.
Citrus and apple/lingonberry jam smear
Notes of fresh sunny citrus and the sour Latvian berries, “Pūre” adds two new flavours to its line of 77.7% smears. Citrus jam smear is a mix of various pronounced yet nuanced citrus flavours, whereas apple/lingonberry smear combines mild sweetness of apples and pleasant sourness of lingonberry. Both smears go great on bread, pancakes or porridge for breakfast, or in dessert and pastry.
Energy bars
Day may not always go according to a plan. Sometimes there is just no time for good rest, or you may need additional energy to keep the job done, complete the workout or way home. Higs Energy Bars with caffeine, vitamins, fruit ingredients, fibre and chocolate glazing, and no additional sugar, are made for such cases. Currently available in three varieties: mango, pineapple and coca cola.
Rye bread with protein and wheat wholegrain bread
Two good news for those who prefer traditional-tasting bread with some extra nutrients! “DONA” has added new products to its range: rye bread with protein and wheat wholegrain bread. Rye bread has a distinct flavour of rye and high content of protein and fibres. This makes it a nourishing choice for those who prefer active lifestyle. Lactose-free protein mousse
