Konservu Fabrika Kaive to Present New Products and Offer Tastings of GOLD Award-Winning Canned Meats

Local meat processing company Konservu Fabrika Kaive will present two new products at Riga Food 2026 and invite visitors to taste its products, including the winners of the GOLD awards at the 2025 Novada Garša food quality competition – Mājas cūkas gaļas konservi (Canned Pork) and Brieža gaļas konservi (Canned Venison).

New Products
Two new products in 325 g cans will be presented for the first time at the exhibition – cūkgaļas konservi “Cūkas šķiņķis” (Canned Pork “Pork Ham”) and vistas gaļas konservi “Vistas šķiņķis” (Canned Chicken “Chicken Ham”).

In both new products, 100% ham is used as the only meat raw material, while the finished products contain 90% ham. The products are made from meat from animals raised in Latvia and are fully ready to eat. Visitors to Riga Food 2026 will also have the opportunity to taste both new products.

The quality of Konservu Fabrika Kaive products has also received professional recognition. At the 2025 Novada Garša food quality competition, two of the company’s products – Mājas cūkas gaļas konservi (Canned Pork) and Brieža gaļas konservi (Canned Venison) – received GOLD awards in their respective categories.

Activities at the Fair
At the fair, visitors to the Novada Garša exhibition area will be able to taste and purchase products from Konservu Fabrika Kaive. The tasting selection will include both new products – Cūkgaļas konservi “Cūcas šķiņķis” (Canned Pork “Pork Ham”) and Vistas gaļas konservi “Vistas šķiņķis” (Canned Chicken “Chicken Ham”) – as well as the 2025 Novada Garša GOLD award winners – Mājas cūkas gaļas konservi (Canned Pork) and Brieža gaļas konservi (Canned Venison). Stirnas gaļas konservi (Canned Roe Deer) will also be available.

At the fair, Konservu Fabrika Kaive will be represented by the company’s owner, Edgars Leimanis, who will be available to meet visitors, discuss the products and explore business cooperation opportunities.
