ZS Saliņas – Cheese with Character!
Delicious cheese made from fresh Latvian cow’s milk, crafted in 13 different flavors to delight both lovers of tradition and seekers of new tastes: from garlic, caraway, and fenugreek to sun-dried tomatoes, porcini mushrooms, peppermint, or hemp.
The cheeses are available both fresh and smoked over alder wood, giving each piece a unique smoky aroma.
All is lovingly handmade in Latvia at the family farm Saliņas. The farm is located in Laubere parish, Ogre region, and has been producing cheese since 2016. What once began with just a couple of flavors has now grown into 13 varieties.
Saliņas can be found at markets across Latvia, most often in the Ogre area.
