“Kale Latvia Organic” will present functional food
“Kale Latvia Organic” is a company that produces functional food. At the exhibition, we will offer you to get acquainted with our original and cherished products, which are made from a plant of the "superfood" class – kale. Our featured products are three types of Kale Pesto, five types of Kale Chips and two types of Kale Kimchi.
- Kale pesto recipes have been developed through painstaking research into the highest quality ingredients. We currently offer three types of pesto – with basil, vegan cheese and hard cheese.
- Kale chips are a high value product. Leaf cabbage is dried at a temperature of 45 degrees, thus preserving valuable nutrients. This process takes more than 16 hours. We currently offer five types of chips, each one is unique and drawn, like a personality with its own amazing character. All flavors are suitable for vegan food, low fat, no added oil during the drying process. They have a high fiber content, content with K, C, A, vitamins, iron, protein, selenium, as well as low salt and sugar content.
- Kale kimchi is a successful experiment and is our latest pride for vegetarians, vegans and classics alike. The ancient kimchi is the national dish of South Korea, which has more than 230 different recipe variations, the base of all of which is Chinese cabbage, our version is made with kale. A collection of Latvian, intense flavors fermented in a barrel for several months. Kale kimchi is a product successfully created through experimentation. And we are very likely the only ones in the world that produce for a wider audience. Like sauerkraut, the fermentation broth of Kale kimchi is a rich source of lactobacilli, which are vital for intestinal microflora. Vitamin C, K, selenium, fiber and many other vitamins are in the arsenal of kimchi. Many antioxidants effectively prevent cell damage and keep the body young and healthy.
- Kale is globally recognized as a representative of the "Superfood" class. It has fascinated us with its strongly biological activity and its content promoting cardiovascular activity, rich in high levels of antioxidants, has anti-cancer effects, contains glucosinolates and phenolic compounds, contains 10 times more vitamin C than spinach, kale has more iron than beef steak, more calcium than milk. Kale contains a lot of carotenoids, Omega-3 and sulfuraphane.
“Kale Latvia Organic” is a family company that established its production in the city of Sigulda in 2021. 5 varieties of leafy cabbage of organic origin are grown in Latvia specially by order of the company. We produce three types of product lines: Kale chips, Kale pesto, Kale kimchi.
