Presentation of French premium drinks and gourmet products French Gourmet Day will be held on September 8 within the Riga Food international exhibition. Family niche brands from France, boasting unique backgrounds and a genuine commitment to crafting the finest products in their respective categories, will take part in this trade mission.
Is it possible to surprise gourmet and especially HoReCa industry professionals in the city where you can taste 12 (!) types of French oysters at a food court and where the Best Sommelier in the World lives?
“Probably not, so we will just enjoy the tastings and communication,” suggest the organizers of the event.
The tasting menu includes red, white and rosé wines, traditional for the French table, champagne, armagnac, rum, gin, vodka, jams and condiments. Gastronomic pairings, as well as new ways of serving and changes in the consumption culture of native French specialists will be discussed as part of the French Gourmet Day conference program with the participation of French gastronomy and hospitality experts.
HoReCa professionals (hoteliers, restaurateurs, food and beverage importers, sommeliers, bartenders), media representatives and influencers are invited to the event.
