"Triumph" motorcycles - from the classics to new adventure

At the "Outdoor Riga 2024" exhibition, motorcycles of the British brand "Triumph" from SIA "SDK" participate with new engine capacity models "Scrambler 400 x" and "Speed Twin 400". Also new is the sports model "Triumph Daytona 660" and the renewed range of models for off-road and touring "Triumph Scrambler 1200 X", as well as the long-distance flagship "Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer".

In the world of watches, the “Triumph” motorcycle would be comparable to the “Rolex Oyster”. Laconic and historical through the ages, without asking for comments. Already in the days of the first independent state of Latvia, “Triumph” motorcycles were represented in a wide range with a motorcycle showroom in Riga, at the beginning of Tērbatas Street.

“Triumph Motorcycles Ltd” is one of the world’s leading definers of motorcycling lifestyle. Hollywood stars like James Dean, Keanu Reeves, Clint Eastwood, Brad Pitt, Hugh Laurie, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, etc. have chosen “Triumph” models. On September 6, 1956, in the USA, in the Bonneville salt lake, pilot Johnny Allen set the absolute world speed record - 214.4 miles per hour for a motorcycle equipped with a "Triumph" engine. On the other hand, in the 50s-60s of the last century, such MC clubs as "Hells Angels" used exactly "Triumph Bonneville" 500 mc3 engines in their vehicles.
