From sewing machines to Baltic fashion brands – Baltic Fashion & Textile Riga 2019

A vast range of textiles from European and Asian manufacturers to be showcased at the Baltics’ largest fashion and textile industry fair “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA 2019” in Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Riga, Latvia already this weekend, 26–28 April.

New and popular sewing machine models
The dealer of the Swiss company BERNINA household and semi-professional sewing machines in Latvia – “Burdas Salons” – will present the latest models of sewing and embroidery machines, as well as the first sewing machine model in Latvia with an integrated touchscreen display and Latvian language option. In the stand of the world’s leading sewing machine manufacturer Juki visitors will have an opportunity to try out sewing machines for beginners and professionals, and learn how to sew a cosmetic bag or a sensory toy.

Fashion Pop-up Street in Kipsala
In order to promote Baltic design, “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA” will for the first time launch a Fashion Pop-up Street where new and unique collections of clothing and accessories will be available. Lithuania will be represented by designer Marius Vepšta, fashion brands “A.P. Line” and “Shyzuka Bags”, Estonia – by “Kyllike” and “Vetka Fashion”, and Latvia – by “Linden Leaf”, “Loviletters”, “Epifania” and other.

Baltic fashion brands on catwalk
On 27 April from 12.00 to 15.00, the Baltic fashion brands will present their new clothing collections. Kids clothing collections will be presented by “Linden Leaf”, “Acoola Baltic” and “Elkor Kids” from Latvia, “Lizkiz Couture” from Estonia. Latvian fashion brands “ESPATTE”, “Colorfall”, “MUCINA” and “Baltie Darbi”, Lithuanian designers Migle Žvirblyte and Rūta Kriaučiūnaite, and the fashion brand “A.P.Line” will show their latest fashion collections. The fashion show of Burda Rīga School of Sewing and Handicraft will take place on Saturday from 15.00 to 17.00. Come and see the latest fashion trends in one of 11 fashion shows!

Innovations in the fashion industry
Innovation Stand is an integral part of the exhibition, which introduces news in the textile and fashion sector in Latvia – transformable coats from “Espatte”, “Fit and Feminine” design sportswear, functional raincoats and clothing for women by “Colorfall”. Visitors of “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA” will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the products developed in the Magnetic Latvia business incubators, such as “be-with” clothing, “RainSisters” coats, “Forgaminnt KIDS” clothes for newborn babies, “MeadowMe” ecological bed linen, “Trempel” eco-friendly hangers, “IkoCrochet” interior items, selected and recycled garments by “ZĪLE”, and natural materials from “MaiMai”.


From fabrics to ready-made garments

“Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA 2019”, 26–28 April, will offer a wide range of fabrics, sewing equipment and supplies, home textiles, as well as sewing machines and equipment for industrial enterprises. Visitors will also have an opportunity to buy ready-to-wear clothing, lingerie, sportswear, footwear for women, men and children, and a wide range of accessories. The fair will be attended by companies from at least 11 countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Russia, Italy, the UK, Bulgaria and others.

Trade fair is held by the International Exhibition Company BT 1. Event occurring simultaneously – International Trade Fair for Children and Parents “Children’s World 2019”.
