Expecting parents will receive free consultations from certified doula and breastfeeding consultant Inga Babure

On 7 March only, at the exhibition “Kids Expo Riga 2026”, expectant mothers and fathers will have the opportunity to receive free consultations from certified doula and breastfeeding consultant Inga Babure, who has more than ten years of professional experience.

During pregnancy, a time when both the mother and the parents-to-be often face many concerns and questions, emotional support can be especially valuable. This is where doulas can help. Doulas are specially trained professionals (in Latvia, the full training programme lasts three years) who provide emotional, informational and physical support throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.

With prior registration, visitors can book a 20-minute consultation with Inga Babure to review their pregnancy journey so far, gain practical knowledge and new skills, discuss additional support options, learn about the differences between the roles of a doula, a birth partner and a midwife, as well as explore what a birth plan is and why it does not always unfold as expected.
