Baltic Beauty 2025 anniversary trade fair roars to an end: huge interest of the visitors attracted by festive mood
In early November, International Expo Centre in Ķīpsala successfully hosted the largest Baltic beauty industry trade fair Baltic Beauty 2025, which marked 20 years since its first event under the same name. 29,687 visitors attended the fair over the course of three days, including 14,698 professional visitors.
According to director of Baltic Beauty, Kristīne Čerņavska, anniversary trade fair attracted an unprecedented number of countries and representatives. “The amazing and festive mood of beauty industry trade fair in Ķīpsala attracted professionals from 28 countries. We were delighted to see the effort put in by exhibitors who had prepared great offers, exciting activities and nicely designed displays. This year became no exception; we worked really closely with our partners to offer visitors even more diverse range of events. We received lots of positive feedback and praise, which gave us positive emotions that will keep us going for a long while.”
Extensive range of products and services
Trade fair, which spanned across two dedicated halls – World of beautiful hair and World of beautiful face and body, showcased latest beauty products from 313 companies that represent the total of 18 world countries. Most Baltic Beauty 2025 exhibitors were targeting beauty industry professionals, offering professional cosmetics, devices, instruments, tools and equipment. Exhibitors represented well-known Latvian brands like GMT, Labrains, Silvanols, Kermen, One: Zero, as well as popular foreign cosmetic product brands that have finally decided to enter the Latvian market. Many companies chose trade fair as the place where to present latest brands, products and services that could also be tested by visitors.
Wide programme of events
Baltic Beauty 2025 offered a wide variety of diverse events at different trade fair locations. More than 40 professional competitions, four conference, 21 workshop, numerous masterclasses, new product launches, discussion and shows, including Lithuanian Thalissi Baltija massage demonstrations Baltic Massage Superstar Shine 2025, were held over the course of three days.

Impactful conferences and workshops
Conferences exploring current industry trends and best practices offered insights from practicing stylists, artists, international and national experts. Interest of professionals was especially captured by Latvian Association of Beauticians and Cosmetologists conference Modern dimensions of human health and aesthetics. It clearly demonstrated that beauty industry today is not only about aesthetics but also science, technologies, psychology and holistic approach to health. Latvian Medical Association’s conference The splendour and misery of beauty was another highlight of the conference programme. Almost no empty seats means that audience appreciated a closer look at issues surrounding beauty and health. Latvian Manicure and Pedicure Association’s Scope of professional competences for manicure and pedicure: news and trends workshop was also very well met by the participants who turned out in surprisingly large numbers.
Rich programme of events for hairstylists
This year’s International Hairstyling Festival was especially good at putting together a rich programme of high-profile events, or 16 workshops and 7 masterclasses. Among them were insightful workshops moderated by world-class professionals like Alessandro Fiorin from Italy and Anna Zenkowska (Poland), creative directors of hairstyling academies Juran Art. Workshop from internationally-acclaimed stylists Ivana Špicer and Mario Mesaric (Croatia) offered plenty of useful inspiration to keep creative juices of professionals flowing. Whereas CHI stand was the place where everyone could appreciate the magnificent skills of global star stylist, artists and celebrity hairdresser Mego Ayvazian.
Thrilling competitions
Young professionals and experienced stylists displayed their skills, agility and signature approach during professional competitions. XXV International Hairstyling Festival, one of the major professional hairstyling competitions celebrated its 31st year in 2025. There were individual hairstyling competitions that award the titles to stylists who were capable of showing the peak talent, unique approach to fashion and created trendy haircuts, colour combinations and arrangements for brides and as fantasy hair-dos. Baltic Best Barber, an international barber competition, was also held for the third consecutive year. Meanwhile, Open Hairstyling School Cup saw students of hairstyling institutions from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia compete for the win.
Unastyle Image School/Studio offered three gorgeous and visually impressive competitions – for designers, make-up artists and hairstylists. Creative makeup competition selected best artists who created the most outstanding and creative make-up, Hollywood Look awarded artists who created a unique overall look inspired by classic or modern Hollywood aesthetic, whereas Full Fashion Look was the competition for the best look according to this season’s fashion trends, from head to toe.
The well-known competition organiser Global Beauty Cups and Tatjana Kivi (Estonia) hosted the popular nail art competition Latvian Global Nail Cup 2025 for the third time at the Ķīpsala trade fair centre. Competition was held in two categories: individual and team. More at:
International Association of Eyelash and Eyebrow Artists also offered two events highly appreciated by the professionals: permanent make-up competition Baltic PMU championship and Dalila Beauty Cup for some of the most talented and competent eyelash and eyebrow artists.
The next or the 21st International Beauty Industry trade fair Baltic Beauty 2026 will take place at the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre in Riga on 6-8 November 2026.
