MeKA – Furniture Testing in Laboratory Conditions
For exhibition visitors, the furniture testing process will be simulated in laboratory conditions to ensure that delivered furniture meets standardized requirements for dimensions, stability, durability, and other quality indicators.
The Forest and Wood Products Research and Development Institute (MeKA) testing laboratory offers the opportunity to obtain furniture quality certification according to European (EN), international (ISO), and national standards. Test reports issued by the laboratory are recognized worldwide.
MeKA also conducts physical and mechanical testing of wood and wood-based products, reaction-to-fire testing and classification, and solid biofuel testing. The institute develops research on wood materials and technologies, monitors timber market prices, and provides theoretical and practical training for industry professionals.
