Auto 2023 coming to Ķīpsala in April!
The Auto 2023 international motor show is the most important automotive industry event in the Baltics, and it will bring car enthusiasts and industry professionals to Ķīpsala next spring, on 28–30 April. At the show, you will discover the latest models of cars, commercial vehicles, campers, hobby cars, sports and tuning vehicles, and various car service gear.
‘After a few years full of challenges, the events industry is back in full swing. Trade shows are no exception, and attendance has shown a steady upward trend since autumn last year. We are confident that this spring, too, Auto 2023 will attract many interested guests. We’ve also received more applications for participation than in previous years, which means more diversity and quality in the exhibits of our show. Everyone will get to spend time in the exciting atmosphere and find out what’s the latest in the industry,’ Gints Šāvējs, Auto project manager, said.
New Cars: latest private and commercial vehicles
The New Cars section will present a broad range of cars, including the Maserati and Audi premium brands, which promise to bring to Auto 2023 models never before seen on the streets in Latvia. Latest Cupra, SEAT, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Škoda, Renault, Dacia, Citro?n, Opel, Suzuki, and Isuzu vehicles will also join the exhibition.
Along with the latest and most popular cars, the show will offer commercial cargo and passenger vehicles by such brands as Otokar, MAN, Iveco Bus, Foton, Cenntro, as well as specialised vehicles, including fully electric ones. Vehicle brand representatives promise interesting buying options, show promotions and valuable advice.
We saw at Auto 2022 that the electric future is inevitable, and in 2023, the trend will continue to grow. The show will offer even more electric vehicles and charging stations, and its guests will get information about charging options, government subsidies, and advantages of operating electric vehicles.
During the three days in Ķīpsala, you will learn many useful things about a vehicle vital for travel: the camper. Quad bikes and electric scooters will also be on display! Auto will present its guests with a broad selection of car brands, all in one place!
Auto Mechanics: from tyres to professional workshop equipment
The Auto Mechanics section will have the latest things the industry has to offer: tyres, rims, vehicle care products, anti-corrosion treatment solutions, equipment and machinery for car shops, car washes, service stations, etc. There will be a broad range of brands, including Eleport, Wurth, Josam, Standox, Meguiars, Kurbads, Krown, Radex Europe, Baltyre, AN Riepas Diski, Rags, Apex Motors, Animo, Signeda, etc. Getz Nordic and Rohe Latvijā come back to the show with new features after a longer break. Guests will also meet representatives of the show’s sponsor, the Motointegrator.lv vehicle service search platform, and find out more about its valuable database.
Auto Exotica: unusual and eye-catching cars
Auto Exotica’s exhibits have a special place in the hearts of Auto’s guests, as this section of the show features rare and unique vehicles, powerful and customised sports cars, as well as classics and retro vehicles. This year, the exotic car section will feature two very special surprises from Sweden and Finland; more details about them will follow. Car clubs from Lithuania and Estonia will also be at the show, after a several years’ break, both with striking hot rods and other rare vehicles never before seen in the streets and at car enthusiast events. The Auto Exotica Awards 2023 competition will take place, as usual, with prizes for the most powerful, the most exotic, and the most exclusive car.
Looking back at last year’s show
Across its three days, Auto 2022 was attended by 22,564 people, a rise of almost 50% compared to 2021. The survey revealed that the guests were looking for a few specific things at the show: 44% wanted to discover the latest features and events of the car industry, 38% got information about the options for buying a new car for their family, 22% considered the possibility of buying a new car or commercial vehicle for work, and 58% of visitors were interested in tuning, retro, and classic cars. Meanwhile, 56% of the respondents said that the show was a great place to spend time with the family.
