Essence of innovation: The innovation of 2DERM REHA Lotio is based on the patented 2DERM microemulsion system, which introduces a different approach to the care of dry and sensitive skin. It goes beyond conventional moisturisation – the formula functionally substitutes for the compromised epidermal lipid barrier.

The unique innovation of this formula lies not in a single active ingredient, but in its mechanism of action. A thin, uniform functional protective layer is formed on the skin surface, helping to reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and limit the impact of undesirable external environmental factors. This creates favourable conditions for the skin’s natural recovery processes when its protective function is weakened.

The formula combines emollients, humectants and skin-conditioning ingredients. Glycerin and sorbitol help maintain the skin’s moisture level, emollients soften the skin, while panthenol helps soothe the skin and maintain comfort. The formulation is further complemented by dimethicone, zinc oxide and tocopheryl acetate.
