Join international competitions for makeup artists and stylists

On 2 November, Baltic Beauty 2025 will host three exciting and visually engaging competitions in the “World of Face and Body Beauty” hall: “Creative Makeup”, “Full Fashion Look” and “Holliwood Look”, where make-up artists, stylists and hairdressers from Latvia and abroad will showcase their talents in the limelight.

The International Make-up Artist Competition “Creative Makeup” will grant participants complete freedom to utilise their artistic and creative imagination, as the main challenge is to create a really original and creative look in 60 minutes, which has to be reflected in a photo. The stylists will be able to work in any technique, using any method, materials and textures to create the look.

In the International Stylist Competition “Full Fashion Look”, participants will be required to style a model backstage (hairstyle, make-up, outfit). On stage, the stylist will have five minutes to fix the model’s details to achieve a finished look. The objective of the competition is to create a contemporary look in line with the latest seasonal fashion trends.

Teams (hairdresser and make-up artist) or single specialists who style both hair and make-up will compete in the International Make-up and Hairdressing Competition “Hollywood Look”. The competition participant must create a look inspired by either classic or contemporary Hollywood aesthetics. Acceptable stylistic interpretations may draw on cinematic eras, iconic star personas, red carpet events, or fashion shows.After the model draw, the contestants will be asked to create a hairstyle and make-up to suit the model. Application
You can apply for the competitions by filling in the online application form by 15 October this year. You can register here>>

Entry fee – EUR 40.00 (“Holliwood Look” – EUR 60). The entry fee must be paid via bank transfer by 16 October.

Prizes Valuable prizes from the competition sponsors will be awarded not only to the first three prize winners, but also to all participants.

Watch the competitions live and get inspired!
On 2 November, from 10:00, you can follow the competition in person at Baltic Beauty 2025, support your colleagues and get inspired. The award ceremony for participants will take place from 15:30-16:30. There you will see all the best entries and the most outstanding stylists.
