Get to know the International School of Riga!

The International School of Riga offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational programme for children aged 18 months to 18 years, nurturing curious and confident young people.

During the trade fair Skola 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the School Director, the Head of Admissions, IB Programme Coordinators, and on Saturday – also the school’s students.

The International School of Riga (ISR) is a vibrant and diverse learning community that has been shaping young minds since 1997.

As the only IB World school in the heart of Riga, ISR provides a world-class education for students from early years to graduation. With a student body representing over 47 nationalities and more than 60% of the faculty coming from international backgrounds, ISR offers an authentic learning experience in a supportive and engaging environment.

The ISR Primary School campus is located in the historic Pārdaugava neighbourhood (Kalnciema iela 118), in the 1912 heritage schoolhouse designed by renowned Latvian architect Reinholds Georgs Šmēlings.

However, the new Secondary School Campus is a modern facility located in the heart of Riga’s Central district at Skanstes iela 27. Just steps away from the Rimi Olympic Centre - a world-class sports venue where ISR students also have physical education.
