At Medbaltica 2026, healthcare institution and social enterprise Hospiss Māja will present palliative and hospice care services provided both at the patient’s home and at its newly established day centre in Riga, as well as specialised transport services. Practical information, special offers and informational materials on organising care during the end-of-life stage will also be available.
At the Hospiss Māja stand, visitors will be invited to learn more about palliative and hospice care and the possibilities of providing professional and dignified care when curative treatment is no longer possible and quality of life, symptom management, safety and support become especially important.
Exhibition visitors will be able to learn about the services provided by Hospiss Māja, including hospice care at the patient’s home, day centre services, training for informal caregivers, support groups for loved ones, specialised transport services, volunteering opportunities and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak with members of the Hospiss Māja team and ask practical questions about accessing services and organising care. Special offers, information leaflets and brochures on palliative and hospice care, support for loved ones and other end-of-life care issues will also be available at the stand.
Healthcare and social care professionals, representatives of healthcare institutions, municipalities and other organisations are especially welcome, as well as anyone who encounters palliative and hospice care issues in their professional or personal life.
