KAMMED Factory - the Only Manufacturer of Medical Equipment in Ukraine

The Scientific and Production Organization KAMMED set out with a bold vision: to lead in the design and manufacturing of high-quality, disposable medical devices in Ukraine. At Medbaltica 2005, the factory will offer its products for the Baltic states to be widely used in surgery, anesthesiology and intensive care, gynecology and obstetrics, otolaryngology and urology, and other areas of medicine.

The KAMMED will have special offers for the Latvian Medical Association, Latvian Association of Gyneacologists and Obstetric, and all other participants and visitors of the fair. The factory will also present its unique publication ‘Atlas of the Drainage of Wounds and Cavities’ with the most effective options in Europe and beyond for using modern drainage methods in surgery, gynecology and other medical fields.

With 35 years of experience, the KAMMED factory continues to pioneer medical solutions and manufactures unique, patented disposable medical instruments that address the needs of modern healthcare. Today, KAMMED operates in over 30 countries (covering markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States) offering a product range of more than 200 items (incl. high-quality drains, probes, catheters, medical tubes, and needles, etc.) and over 2,000 modifications tailored to specific medical needs worldwide.

Every product undergoes rigorous testing and 100% technical inspection, and is supported by all the necessary registration documentation for international compliance. Our commitment to continuous improvement, quality management, and monitoring of key performance indicators has earned us the trust of customers both in Ukraine and abroad.

The KAMMED factory was founded in 1991 in the historic city of Kamianets-Podilskiy, Ukraine, shortly after the country gained independence. It was established by Valeriy Slabinskyi, MD, a famous Ukrainian surgeon, and in collaboration with distinguished Ukrainian and international healthcare experts. A pivotal figure in KAMMED’s creation was Professor Alexander Shalimov, a globally recognized academician and the namesake of the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology of Ukraine in Kyiv.
