Skola 2020 gathered more than 20 000 inquisitive young people!

The 26th International Education Fair “Skola 2020” the most important educational event of the year held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, closed on March 1 gathering in three days 20 129 inquisitive young people.

The fair was attended by 105 participants from 14 countries – the US, Denmark, France, Estonia, Ireland, Canada, Russia, Great Britain, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, Hungary and Germany.

From February 28 to March 1, “Skola 2020” offered the latest information on studying possibilities at Latvian and foreign universities and other educational institutions, interest education, language and different training courses. Young people took advantage of meeting the teaching staff and students of various universities, questioned them about new study programmes, government subsided study places, student exchange and internship programmes, and extracurricular activities. Young people also actively “tried out” different professions, met with career advisers, attended informative seminars, presentations and masterclasses relating to the new model of secondary education, etc.
