From a concept to a dream garden: Garden and lifestyle 2026 in Ķīpsala has what you need!

If you love working in the garden, dream about your own green oasis on the balcony or want to redo the garden, Garden and lifestyle 2026 on 9-10 May, in Ķīpsala, will bring you one step closer to your goal. Two days to explore the vast universe of plants, seeds, garden appliances and tools, greenhouses, pergolas and garden furniture. This is your chance to buy what you need and get advice from landscape architects and other experts.

Diverse range of plants and seeds
Visitors of the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre will be offered a wide choice of plants: flowers, fruit trees, ornamental shrubs, decorative trees, and also seeds. There will be everyone’s favourite and also rare breeds. Rose plants grown in Latvia from “Ilzes rozes” and “Dailas rozes”. “Līga” Orchards will provide annual and perennial plants, flowers, while “Jaunās Čūreikas” farm will cater to visitors looking for aromatic herbs and popular herb boxes that can be easily installed on the windowsill.

As for those who want to maximise their tomato yield and, maybe, discover new, tasty breeds of tomatoes, their path should lead right to Horticultural Enthusiasts’ Club TOMATO booth. Ķīpsala will showcase wildflower carpets and Latvian-bred walnut plants. Those who are more interested in fruit trees and berries should visit the booths of “Liepas” nursery or Pūre Horticultural Research Station, which will have lots of different apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, peach and apricot trees, black currants, gooseberries, currants and many other exciting plants.

But, if you want to grow sweet watermelons here in Latvia, you must visit the “Tava Oga/Your Berry” stand where you will find the widest variety of watermelon seeds in Latvia. And that includes breeds that have been successfully grown here in Latvia.

Maximise your yield
Maximising yield takes a lot of effort, and often even that is not enough. You need to provide additional nutrients and eliminate pests to grow your plants. EcoAgroForest will present an exciting innovation during the Garden and lifestyle 2026: organo-mineral fertilizers with high content of lignin and humins, and balanced content of macro, micro and secondary elements for all crops and soil types - AGROVITASIL and BIOMIXSIL. Meanwhile, RK69 will demonstrate the Latvian-made anti-moss agent ”SŪNĀM-STOP/MOSS-STOP’. It is a product that will efficiently and successfully help you get rid of moss and algae. Bioefekts will offer trichograms and products that will drive out pests and protect Green lacewings in your garden.

Draw inspiration from Living Garden
Living Garden is a section of the trade fair that returns this year to show visitors the latest garden and landscaping trends, inspire to improve the garden even more and provide valuable advice of experienced landscape architects. Landscape architects from “Ainavu Studija/Landscape Studio” and ERBE, as well as Rūta Gabranova (GA.RU) and Liene Feldmane, will gladly consult you on your plans and ways to implement them. The main star of the display will be the Magnolia (15 various breeds of the fully-grown plant) and, of course, the huge, green beauties that will leave no-one cold – Bonsai–Nivaki from “Dārzs zem saules/Garden under the Sun” orchards.

High-quality tools
Even the best and most carefully-crafted ideas will fail without proper tools in your hands. That is why Garden and lifestyle 2026 will offer all sorts of garden tools, appliances and accessories. iTip, an ergonomic wheelbarrow, is this season’s hottest new product that will make seniors especially happy. Product is sold by “Seši spārni/Six Wings”. Lithuania company “Bono vita” will present the best Japanese-made OREC professional tall grass mowing solutions for solar parks and other complex areas. These mowers have integrated side handle that allows mowing the grass around various obstacles.

Pleasant rest
Garden is often becoming a place where to rest. That is why trade fair will showcase wide variety of garden amenities like gazebos, sheds, saunas, hot tubs, garden furniture and elements, swings, playgrounds, barbecue grills and fireplaces. These items will help you build your peaceful oasis. Goods Steel will bring durable and elegant high-end pergolas and sheds, Rolar will present locally-manufactured soft PVC windows, and Woodoo Haus will present safe, durable and nice-looking children’s playgrounds that can be customised for various settings.
