Latvian Electric Vehicle Association invites everyone to a discussion on how well electric cars cater to our modern needs


On 20 April, on the Open stage of Auto 2024, Latvian Electric Vehicle Association will host two discussion – “Are EVs ready for you?” at 13:30 and “Will there be enough charging points for everyone?” at 14:45.

13:30–14:30 Discussion “Are EVs ready for you?”
Latvian Electric Vehicle Association and industry experts will discuss how well electric vehicles actually cater to needs of the modern life. Negative media coverage has been increasing recently, blaming for EVs all kinds of things from being too heavy and damaging roads to effects of winter on the range of EVs.

14:45–15:45 Discussion “Will there be enough charging points for everyone?”
Only 1% of all cars in Latvia are electric. EVs require a change of habits, especially when it comes to charging. Largest charging station operators in Latvia will discuss how well-prepared to face the future where most cars are electric Latvia is.
