RIGA COMM 2017 for the second consecutive year offers the only IoT Conference in the Baltic States that will take place in Kipsala International Exhibition Centre on November 10. During the conference, top managers of the world’s leading technology companies, including Marc Jadoul, Market Development Director for the Internet of Things at Nokia, will share their experience.
“The Internet of Things and various smart city solutions not only have been intended and spoken for but also implemented in Latvia. With more than two decades of experience in the ICT sector, Marc Jadoul has held positions in research & innovation, strategy, marketing and communications, business development, and solutions consulting. In his presentation “Every city can be smart city”, Marc Jadoul will introduce three distinct implementation routes to a smart city, explore the pros and cons of these approaches illustrated by real life examples and based on an ambitious survey results. This will be a great opportunity to get new expertise shared by a knowledgeable expert.
Commissioned by Nokia a year ago, a survey was conducted among project leaders of 22 cities, who shared their experience and strategies applied implementing smart city solutions. As a result, a comprehensive guide “The Smart City Playbook” has been produced that offers smart city makers recommendations and examples of good practice.
The major IoT developers like Garmin, CISCO, Actility, whiteCryption, Agri Con and other companies will also share their experience and future vision of the IoT and industrial Internet solutions, their application in the construction, healthcare, sports and agricultural sectors.
