Baltic Beauty 2024 will bring all beauty industry innovations this November
Ķīpsala Internation Expo Centre will hold largest Baltic beauty industry event Baltic Beauty 2024 on 1-3 November, bringing together various new cosmetic products, beauty treatments and services. As usual, there will also be numerous conferences, workshops, master classes, competitions and discussions.
Each year more than 30,000 visitors from Baltics, Scandinavia and other countries attend the Baltic Beauty trade fair, and more than half of them are industry professionals who come to see new products and potential cooperation partners. Trade fair has an extensive programme of professional events exploring current and future beauty industry trends, whereas various competitions are a good way to show off professional skills and compete for titles. Anyone who visits this three-day event will appreciate the dazzling shows and exciting competitions, opportunity to try new beauty products and services, meet their favourite artists and get great deals on favourite products.
Diverse range of products
Companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy, Poland, Finland, Spain and Germany have already confirmed their participation and are ready to showcase their beauty products and services for professionals and consumers in one of the two exhibition pavilions. Section World of beautiful face and body will include different kinds of beaty and cosmetic treatment procedures, new products, services and devices. Meanwhile, section World of beautiful hair will offer more than hair cosmetics, professional tools, accessories and hair salon equipment – it will also offer a chance to get professional hairdressing advice and watch world-class virtuosos perform their skills on stage. As a cherry on the cake, there will also be separate section for jewellery and accessories, the Jewellery World.
Professional conferences
Baltic Beauty is more than beauty festival. It is a forum where professionals can learn more about current trends, learn and improve their professional skills to stay up to date. Baltic Beauty 2024 offers extensive programme of professional events with seven informative conferences, more than 40 professional competitions, numerous master classes and workshops.
On 1 November, Latvian Association of Cosmetologists and Aestheticians will meet for much respected in professional circles Modern beauty technologies conference. On Saturday, 2 November, Latvian Medical Association will hold conference Beautiful at all ages: do’s and don’ts, whereas international conference Wedding Style, organised by Unastyle Personal Styling School/Studio, will also include several shows. Artists from Latvia, Germany, Finland and Israel have accepted the invitation to share their bridal hairstyle and make-up tips. In addition, “Tuča” will organise its Baltic Lash & Brow Conference on 3 November.
International Hairstyling Festival
Conferences, workshops and masterclasses on 2024 women’s and men’s hairstyles from some of the most exceptional hairdressers, colouring tips, shows and hair styling competitions – International Hairstyling Festival section, which coincidentally celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024, will have it all during the Baltic Beauty.
There will be three hairstyling conferences at the Baltic Beauty for the first time ever. Colouring conference, which will be particularly interesting for hairdressers specialising in hair colouring, and Baltic Barber Conference for barbers from all over Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia on 2 November. Meanwhile, on 3 November, leading national trichologists taking part in the Trichology conference will share their expertise. Conference will take a closer look at various hair health issues and possible treatments, as well as hair transplants.
Brand representatives will share their fashion line secrets with hairdressers during workshops, and brand collections will also take the main stage of World of beautiful hair for all the visitors to adore. Some of master classes and demonstrations will also take place on the main stage.
Hairstyling competitions Competitions are an excellent way for hairdressers to compete and show their unique take on current fashion by creating modern overall style, unusual cuts and hair-do’s, glamorous bridal hairstyles and also fantasy do’s. Open Hairstyling School Cup is a competition that has attracted growing number of hairstyling school students from Lithuania and Estonia in recent years. If you are a hairstylist, you can still enter your name in your preferred competition category.
Baltic Best Barber, which will be held on 3 November, is a championship that Baltic Beaty started three years ago. Visitors will have a first-hand opportunity to watch some exciting and impressive competitions between the best male hairstylists from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and other countries, who all want to get the champion’s title. Barbers will show their skills in one of the three competition categories: BUZZ CUT, SIDEPART and CROP.

Make-up, nail, lash and brow competitions After last year’s stellar return of nail art competition to Ķīpsala, Latvian Global Nail Cup 2024 will again be organised by Global Beauty Cups and Tatjana Kivi. On 2 November, nail artists will compete for the win in Manicure with Red-Gelpolish, Manicure with design, Salon modelling (pink and white), Gradient and Aerography categories. But that’s not all! There will also be a new category for everyone who is interested.
This year’s novelty is the permanent make-up competition Baltic PMU Championship - another Baltic Beauty event that has returned after a decade’s absence. International Association of Lash and Brow Artists is in charge of this competition that will take place on Friday, 1 November. Meanwhile, on Saturday, 2 November, “Tuča” will hold its Baltic Lash & Brow Championship for eyelash and eyebrow artists.
Sunday, 3 November, is packed with three exciting and spectacular competitions for experienced and future make-up, styling and hairdressing professionals. Creative makeup competition allows artists to use any technique they prefer, including air-brush, stencil and make-up techniques, and also any make-up products and accessories. Full Fashion Look styling competition will require artists to style the hair, make-up and clothes of their models off-stage and then they will have five minutes on the stage to complete the look and present it to the judges. The aim of the competition is to see how well artists can create the overall style and look based on this season’s trends. And Red Carpet is a team competition for hairstylists and make-up artists. All competitions are organised by Unastyle Personal Styling School/Studio.
Discussions for everyone Latvian Association of Cosmetologists and Aestheticians invites all visitors of Baltic Beauty 2024 to attend the “Experts on beauty” discussion on 2 November at 12:00, where experts will share their valuable advice. Discussion will be moderated by Renāte Reinsone, President of Latvian Association of Cosmetologists and Aestheticians.
