Great visitor turnout makes Outdoor Riga 2024 a success

Bringing together 160 exhibiting companies from 11 countries, including Canada, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine and South Africa, international outdoor sports and recreation trade fair Outdoor Riga 2024 at the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre in the beginning of April was a success. Three-day event attracted the total of 19,836 visitors or two thousand more than a year earlier.

Everything you need for water adventures
Baltic Boat Show section contained a wide range of watercraft – from motor yachts and motorboats to kayaks SUP boards. Visitors were given access to a variety popular boat brands and models, as well as free expertise from companies. Everything one might need to choose the right watercraft for sports or adventure. PEGAZUS HT30, an exclusive version of the Captain’s Club yacht, was unveiled at the Outdoor Riga 2024. To make it even more exciting for the visitors, exhibitors presented a wide range of watercraft accessories: GPS navigation, sonars, safety equipment, sailing accessories, boat engines, berths and much more.

Rides of all kinds
“Bikes and Cycling” section offered bikers and cyclists access to various ride reveals, all-new motorcycle, scooter, ATV, buggy, quad bike and trike models for both seasoned riders and rookie bikers. Moreover, Outdoor Riga 2024 showcased lots of different motorcycle and cycling accessories, such as helmets, glasses, jackets, gloves, boots, horns and other equipment that makes for a safe and comfortable ride. Ducati Riga also brought Moto Trainer simulator, which attracted large crowds of those who wanted to learn the basic track riding skills and benchmark their skills with pro riders through telemetry overlay. Meanwhile, cyclists could browse through heaps of different bicycle, scooter or e-bike configurations and special deals, as well as receiving expert advice on the best steed.

Fishing and hunting supplies
“Hunting and Fishing” section of Outdoor Riga 2024 offered avid fishermen opportunity to replenish their stocks with all sorts of feed, hooks, bait, angling rods and other equipment, and also get good advice and tips and hints from experienced fishermen. Hunting section, which was located next to extensive Fishing section, showcased various hunting cameras, sights and apparel. Annual general meeting of the Latvian Hunter’s Association that took place at Ķīpsala was specifically aligned to expo.

Nature adventure
Nature enthusiasts could appreciate a rich diversity of equipment that one needs to go outdoors and have fun. From waterproof footwear, gloves and socks to sleeping bags, tents, hammocks and stand up campers, or everything one might need for trekking and hiking. Display included also all kinds and sizes of flasks, BBQs and cups from popular brand Stanley that hikers might need or one could use when going on a picknick.

Hottest products and reveals
Visitors of Outdoor Riga 2024 could not only feast their eyes on great range of outdoor gear and clothes but also exciting novelties and innovations. Unitrack electric monotrack e-motorcycle concept was one of the most impressive reveals, along with Tiwal 3 inflatable sailing dinghy, which is known for its ease of transportation and storage. Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro motorcycle designed by professional motocross rider Jānis Kļaviņš and Modern Nomad apparel also drew large crowds of visitors. Fishing master classes and hunting shows
Outdoor Riga 2024 open stage was handed over to experienced fishermen like Kaspars Holms, Uģis Circenis, Normunds Ikomass, Krišjānis Lisovskis, Mārtiņš Balodis, Aigars Zumbergs and Ričards Milašs, who shared their know-how and knowledge, demonstrated various fishing techniques and gave valuable fishing advice to those gathered. Meanwhile, hunters entertained the public with captivating hunting dog shows and wild animal calling performances. Fishing conversations moderated by always funny and cordial Gunārs Klēģers gave unforgettable memories, and team of hunting magazine “Medības/Hunt” and members of Latvian Deer Callers’ Club entertained visitors with some fascinating shows.
