Meet thousands of pets and celebrate the ZooExpo 2026 trade fair!
On 14-15 November, Ķīpsala International Expo Centre will become home to more than 3,000 pets as the annual International Pet and Animal Expo, ZooExpo 2026, will open its doors to visitors. Experienced pet owners and breeders, families with children and bigger friend groups will have two days to explore the vast animal kingdom, attend various pageants and take part in fun activities.
Both expo halls will be filled with great variety of animals. From dogs and cats of popular and rare breeds to farm animals, goats and rabbits, as well as some really exotic reptiles and spectacular birds. Visitors of ZooExpo 2026 will have a chance to see the animals, learn more about their characteristics and specific treatment of various breeds, and talk to knowledgeable breeders and owners.
Diverse expo, with lovely pets, is also a great place where to buy pet products and get good advice. ZooExpo 2026 exhibitors have promised special deals on animal food, treats, accessories and other products. Ķīpsala will also become an expert consultation hub with canine, veterinary and other experts sharing valuable practical tips.
Multitude of different events will appeal to visitors of all ages. There will be various pet pageants, shows, obedience routines and other performances, which make trade fair a perfect place for collecting information, experiencing positive emotions and maybe even finding your next family pet.
Latvian Felinology Association Felimurs, which marks its 40th anniversary this year, will take care of festive atmosphere during the ZooExpo 2026. „We were founded in October of 1986, and the first show took place on 3 May 1987. Association Felimurs is the first cat breeders’ organisation founded way back in former USSR. We will mark our 40th birthday by celebrating our original members and best breeders. There will also be competitions for the most beautiful male and female cat in the club,” Vija Klučniece, President of Association Felimurs, says.
There will be free bouncy houses for children for the duration of the trade fair!

If you want to bring your non-competing dog to the show, before you buy ticket, you and your pet will have to go through veterinary checkpoint by Gate 11. Dog owners will be required to present dog’s veterinary health certificate.
