Active recreation fairs brought together nearly 23,000 visitors!

Four trade fairs dedicated to active recreation and sport - "Recreation and Sport 2016", "Hunting and Fishing 2016", "Baltic Boat Show 2016" and "Motorcycle 2016" - seen by 22,946 visitors, that means a 10% increase compared to last year, successfully finished on 3 April.

The events for recreation and sport brought together 208 participating companies and organizations from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Finland, Italy and the UK, which is by 5% more than in 2015. We are ahead of the best pre-crisis indicators.

Visitors had a great opportunity to get acquainted in one place with the newest offers of this season, to buy or order them. Anglers had a possibility to complete the assembly of fishing tackle, get expert advice, but hunters, apart from attending the general meeting, to get acquainted with the latest hunting optics and high-quality branded clothing.

Motorcyclists had an opportunity to see the latest motorcycle models and get information on brands yet unseen in Latvia, but boaters - learn about novelties especially in the segment of small and medium-sized boats.

Visitors showed massive interest in bicycles, the extensive offer of tourism and sport goods, and activities associated with healthy lifestyle.

The active recreation and sport fairs offered excellent environment for information exchange and business, exciting events for all those who go for healthy lifestyle, and an extensive programme of informative events and competitions - the conference for physical education teachers, children and youth sports coaches held by the Latvian Medical Association, the International Bouldering Event “Riga Open ’16”, the Fitness Competition “Healthy Girls” etc.International Functional Fitness Competition “Battle of Riga 2016”, which brought together 64 CrossFit athletes from 15 countries, attracted massive visitor and mass media interest.

The next editions of "Recreation and Sport 2017", "Hunting and Fishing 2017", "Baltic Boat Show 2017" and "Motorcycle 2017" will take place from 24-26 March 2017.
