In order to take care of the safety of you, other participants and visitors, as well as to reduce the risk of a last-minute event cancelling, the 14th International Medical Fair “Medbaltica 2021” and 10 conferences for healthcare professionals, 7-8 October at Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre, will be held on the green level of safety*.
“Life goes on and the green level in the most rational solution to the current situation. Mainly because by doing this we can be sure about the exhibition if the morbidity rates continue to grow when the autumn period comes. Moreover, the participants of “Medbaltica 2021” will have the opportunity to present their newest products and offers in a safe environment thus promoting their business, while healthcare professionals will be able to attend conferences and exhibition on site,” explains the manager of “Medbaltica 2021” Mārtiņš Druvkalns.
The exhibition can be attended by representatives of companies from countries with an interoperable EU Covid-19 certificate, so we expect a wider national representation than last year.
Substantial programme of conferences
Events for healthcare professionals is a significant part of fair’s programme and conferences will be held on green level too this year.
The Latvian Medical Association, the Latvian Dental Association and the Latvian Nurses’ Association will hold conferences on both exhibition days, 7-8 October. The conference of the Healthcare Employers’ Association with the participation of the top managers and chief medical specialists of healthcare institutions, as well as the conference of Pharmacists’ Society of Latvia will be held on 7 October, while dental hygienists and dental assistants will meet at conferences on 8 October.
The “Medbaltica” fair is an important event for healthcare professionals, where you can source information on the latest medical technologies, new businesses, make business contacts and buy medical products at particularly advantageous prices.

* The green level means that all participants of the event have certificates proving their Covid-19 vaccination or recovery during the last half-year. The green level is most closely aligned to the time before the pandemic – neither the exhibition participants nor visitors will need to wear face and mouth covering, respect physical distancing, nor the number of visitors and opening hours will be limited.
