Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 trade fair – an island of peace in Ķīpsala that offers insights into interior and design

During the Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 trade fair on 17-19 October, for many Ķīpsala will transform into a three-day oasis of inspiration. It will become the venue where professionals and regular visitors will have an opportunity to explore wide variety of furniture, lights, textiles, interior items and creative design accessories that contribute to beautiful, contemporary and comfortable indoor environment.

Riga Furniture and Interior 2025 will welcome more than 200 exhibitors from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Poland, Germany and other countries. Trade fair will be attended by furniture and interior studios, designers, artists, architects, light and sound experts, and manufacturers that offer modern home designs and delivery of custom-made projects. 

International brands and local masterpieces together

Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 is a trade fair that provides inspiration for all types of rooms and functions – from home offices to living rooms, bathrooms and even garage. Compact and adjustable LinERGO tables and ergonomic RestockFurniture chairs will make any home office look nice and productive. Living room, bedroom and interior designs from “Skandi mēbeles”, LONAS and “Mūzas istaba” will include soft furniture from Scandinavian and Baltic producers. Latest Deante collections will make any kitchen more efficient and stylish thanks to its modern taps and sinks. Make your bathroom shine with Latvian producer PAA’s elegantly-shaped bathtubs. Their products are an amalgamation of mastery, modern technology and manual craft. PAA, by the way, has collaborated with internationally-acclaimed designer Karim Rashid. Their jointly designed, new, unique collection of bathtubs will be on display during the fair.

In addition to furniture, lighting is also one of the main elements of any home. Chandeliers from Italian brand Reccagni Angelo, Garden Lamp Collection and Olighttube sustainable lighting systems will make any indoor or outdoor environment special, while Moss Art Studio, DABA deco and others will present natural items like stabilised moss and decorative plants, spatial flower wall arrangements, forest animal sculptures and many other trendy design items.

Trade fair in Ķīpsala will have vast range of finishing materials: tiles, wallpaper, laminate and wood panel flooring, other floor covers, and also natural stone. Emerging talent and contemporary art

For the second year running, Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 will offer its visitors ARTISTS RUNWAY 2025, an exciting creative event that will consist of pop-up gallery where art meets design and stage, light engineering. Coordinated by “MĀK”, creative consortium headed by architect Anda Alksniņa and artist Ildze Ose, it is a collaboration with art historian and curator Uldis Jaunzems-Pētersons. It is a space of inspiration built by renowned artists and young talents to give trade fair’s visitors unforgettable memories.

Trade fair will also promote young designers and artists whose creations will be displayed in the art and design school section to show the future potential of the industry brought by next generation of professionals.

Future trends in the Latvian furniture industry

The tradition of organising Latvian furniture industry conference Furniture manufacturing in Latvia and around the world today and tomorrow,which was established in 2024, is returning to Riga Furniture & Interior in 2025 too. Industry leaders and decision-makers will gather for an open conversation about the future of the industry. This year’s theme – human capital and competitive market – will explore whether Latvian furniture industry will be dominated by human or robot workforce, what are the limits of automation, how to recruit and hold on to workforce, how young generation is changing workplace culture and how digital transformation, cooperation with architects and designers can change the game. Participants will include experts from Latvian Sustainable Procurement Association, Latvian Designers Association,  Latvian Association of Architects, SEB bank, and professionals from companies like “Nakts mēbeles”, “Bolderāja serviss”, Intarsija, Peruza, Hettich, “Industriālais krāsu apgāds”, “Kronospan” and others. Conference has already become an industry milestone that analyses challenges and generates common solutions vital for the growth of the sector.
