From 50cm thin car to a movie star: everything you can discover at the Baltic Motor Show Riga Auto 2026

Baltic Motor Show Riga Auto 2026 in Riga, Latvia on 24-26 April comes with lots of surprises in the form of new cars and amazing automotive diversity. From Baltic market reveals to unique cars and tuning. Visitors will have an opportunity to see the world’s narrowest car from Italy, 24-hour Nürburgring endurance race BMW, the legendary Eleanor Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds, and futuristic EV. Exciting event for all – young and old.

World’s thinnest ride
Slim Panda from Italy is the world’s thinnest fully functioning car. It is only 50cm wide! Despite its extremely slim size, it has electric AWD drive that gives the speed of up to 15kph and range of 25km when fully charged. Andrea Marazzi, car mechanic behind this unique ride, worked for a whole year to create the car with his own hands. It will be presented on 24 April, after the Riga Auto 2026 opening ceremony, at 11:30 in Ķīpsala Expo Centre. Moderator – the most famous Italian Latvian Roberto Meloni. Come and see, and maybe you will have a chance to climb inside the world’s narrowest car that has been enter for the Guiness World Record.

Baltic market reveals

The number of international brands at this year’s trade fair will be indeed impressive. Cupra Formentor VZ5, the updated version with the legendary Audi 5-cylinder 2.5 litre engine and 390HP, will return to the Baltic market with a reveal at the Riga Motor Show on 24 April. Autobrava will reveal the MG S9, MG4 Urban, MG S6 and XPENG P7+ to the Baltic market at its booth. Trade fair will also showcase the Kia EV2 which was launched at the beginning of this year. Its astonishing price is destined to make it a European market leader. Another reveal is two new Chinese Chery Group brands: Jaecoo and Omoda. Meanwhile, Whatcar will present one of the most popular compact 4x4 at its booth, showcasing the latest iteration of Toyota RAV4. It not only has 12.3-inch instrument panel, but also up to 13-inch multimedia screen. Detailed trade fair event programme available here.

EV from the future
Ķīpsala International Expo Centre will also be the place where some of the world’s technologically advanced electrical vehicles will be available. HiPhi Z, a true digital-GT, is one of the most notable of them. Combining high power, artificial intelligence and futuristic design, it impresses with its unique concept. Visitors will also appreciate HiPhi X – one of the world’s most amazing premium electrical SUVs, and fully electric Fisker Ocean Sport 4x4, an amalgamation of sustainability and practical design. electroauto.lv will showcase Lotus Eletre, the first fully electric SUV from the legendary British sportscar manufacturer Lotus, at its booth. Moreover, Baltic Motor Show Riga Auto 2026 will also have the amazing MG Cyberster electrical roadster, which follows the philosophy of the once legendary British classic line of roadsters from MG.

From classic to modern street designs

Riga Auto 2026 hobby car section will give visitors insight into diverse ways of approaching car building and aesthetics. Low Happens will present four distinct designs for low-riders: BMW 3 series E36, a street class drift car that has distinct design with paint splatter, BMW 3 series Compact California Edition E36, a car with impressive exterior parts. For those who love classics, there will be Volvo Amazon. And, for those who prefer clean style, Audi 80 Competition project car. Zauers Classic Cars will demonstrate two legendary 90s icons: BMW 8 series E31 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe C140. USA auto import & export booth will be the place where visitors will not only be able to find out more about finding, buying and importing cars from the US, but also see 1954 Chrysler Windsor, legendary Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC and iconic BMW 850 that has V12 engine, pop-up headlights and a body shape that still looks like something from the future. Nürburgring champion in Ķīpsala

Petrolheads will be astonished to see the incredible Rowe Racing team BMW M6 GT3 at the trade fair. The car that won the 24-hour Nürburgring (Nordschleife) endurance race back in 2020. This race car is an amazing combination of power, endurance and aerodynamics. Weighing only 1.3 tons, it houses 4.4 litre V8 turbo engine that has been boosted to 585HP. Speeding from naught to 100 kph in just 3.2 seconds, it can reach the top speed of 300 kph, leaving rivals like Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo and Porsche 911 GT3 R behind in its winning season.

Trade show has three thematic sections: New Cars with unprecedented number of new car brands this year, Auto Mechanics with great diversity of car maintenance and repair products, and Auto Exotica with really exceptional hobby and sports cars. New Cars section will be comprised of brands like Audi, Volkswagen, Cupra, Škoda, Kia, Honda, Xpeng, Renault, Dacia, BYD, Nissan, MG, Great Wall Motors, Voyah, Dong Feng, M-Hero, Forthing, Subaru, Toyota, Lynk & Co, Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo and many more.

Free parking at lot P3 (Matrožu iela) for visitors will be available on 25th and 26th of April. There will be shuttle buses to Expo Centre every 5 minutes.
