Outdoor Riga 2025, the busiest spring trade fair in Ķīpsala, was a success
In mid-April Ķīpsala International Expo Centre successfully hosted the international active lifestyle and adventure trade fair Outdoor Riga 2025. This event has three equally-popular sections: Baltic Boat Show, Hunting&Fishing and Bikes&Cycling. Over the course of three days, visitors of the Ķīpsala Expo Centre could fully immerse in the world of adventure and appreciate newest motorbikes, quad bikes, bicycles, boats, yachts and everything that an avid hunter, fisher or adventurer needs.
164 exhibiting companies from nine countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany, Finland, Czechia, Denmark and Ukraine) took part in the three-day event to satisfy the interest of 18 403 visitors. Some were looking for the latest tech, others – for cooperation partners, while some were purely looking for an inspiration to go on the next adventure.
Wide variety of boating apparel and equipment
Baltic Boat Show section of the trade fair offered visitors ample opportunities to choose different watercraft for water sports from boats to kayaks and SUP boards, catamarans and even yachts. There were both leisure boats and fishing boats, as well as manufacturers offering boats with cabins. Fans of active lifestyle were definitely thrilled to see various water sports equipment, whereas tech fans could appreciate powerful speedboats, jet bikes and all sorts of modern gadgets. Not to mention the navigation and safety solutions, platforms, engines and trailers, or basically everything a good adventure on the water needs.
New and innovative products for fishing and hunting
Hunting and fishing enthusiasts were actively attending trade fair on all three days to appreciate the wide range of specialised clothing, accessories and equipment, and also latest technologies from Latvian and foreign companies, displayed by exhibitors. Those who came for Hunting&Fishing section could also renew their stocks, adding latest fishing and hunting gear from innovative optical products and thermal imaging for hunters to top-quality feed, bait, hooks, angling sticks, hunting boots and functional apparel designs for all weather conditions to their arsenal. The annual general meeting of Latvian Hunters’ Association also took place on 12 April. It focused on current developments in the sector and latest hunting technologies and solutions.
New products for cycling and motorbiking suitable for all riding styles
Outdoor Riga 2025 trade fair offered a rich choice of motorbikes, scooters, quad bikes, micromobility devices and bicycles to biking and cycling fans. There were both latest and also rare models on display. Harley-Davidson, Yamaha and CFMOTO, and other brands that are pretty much adored here in Latvia, chose the trade fair for showcasing their season’s new tech. Several thousand visitors approached experts for advice on which bike to buy, keenly buying everything they need for the new season – from fitness to mountain bikes, stylish equipment, helmets and other accessories. Exposition was a balanced selection of products for experienced riders, families with children and everyone who wants to safely and conveniently commute on daily basis or just relax.
Lots of products for outdoor adventures and leisure
Those who prefer active lifestyle were given a wonderful opportunity to choose wide variety of products that make adventures away from home more pleasant and comfortable. Exhibitors had worked hard to bring numerous hiking, camping and travelling products, including clothing and boots, up to tents and sleeping bag packages. Moreover, new roof tents and camping furniture were also well represented. Visitors had access to plenty of useful accessories, such as the flasks, grills and other items that are essential when hiking or picnicking.
Educational, sporty and adrenaline-filled events
Outdoor Riga 2025 is a trade fair that draws in crowds with its thrilling events. Open stage offered lectures, discussions and demonstrations involving locally and internationally acclaimed fishing stars like Toms Klabis, Kristaps Knesis and others. Hunting enthusiasts watched the traditional hunting dog parade. The adrenaline-filled performance of TRIXS.EE X-Trial Tallin PROMO was a big hit among motorsports fans. Andrejs Rastorgujevs, the leading Latvian biathlon star, entertained crowds at the biathlon area, which also had various simulators and laser gun range. Athlete gave autographs to fans and took part in various interactive games.
