Next week: latest advances in medical sector at Medbaltica 2025 trade fair
The largest Baltic healthcare trade fair Medbaltica 2025 will take place on 25-26 September at the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre. Latest healthcare technologies and advanced materials, medical uniforms, medical cosmetics and immunity products. Moreover, Medbaltica 2025 has the biggest ever programme of events for professionals, with the total of 19 conferences.
129 medical sector companies from 11 countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy, China, Poland, Romania, Finland, Ukraine, Germany and Sweden – will bring to Ķīpsala their latest dental treatment, surgical, orthopaedic, rehabilitation, pharmaceutical and other medical devices, technologies, materials and services. Participants of conferences and visitors of trade fair will have access to newest inventions and upgrades of medical devices, as well as advice from healthcare professionals and special deals.
Italy will have strong representation with 16 exhibiting companies at this year’s Medbaltica. Italian manufacturer MIR will showcase high-quality advanced medical devices for management of respiratory and heart conditions, PVS will present Italian-made first aid kits and marine first aid kits, and Aptaca will offer top-range disposable and reusable products for clinical diagnostics and laboratories.
Emergency medicine
Global geopolitics have also shaped the content of Medbaltica 2025 as medical assistance to national defence forces and civilians has become critical in current armed conflicts and natural disasters. Latvian Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeons invites all concerned to conference “Critical professional skills in disaster and battlefield medicine: anaesthesiology and trauma treatment” on 25 September. Rehabilitation and patient care
Rehabilitation is a sector that will be widely represented at the trade fair. Companies from this sector will demonstrate unique rehabilitation and physiotherapy equipment. Let’s consider some of them. Visitors will have an opportunity to appreciate modern vibration workout machine that stimulates muscles and reflexes, improves balance and coordination, the vibration platform Galileo Med 40, innovative movement therapy system with biofeedback sensors Telco from Polish company Technomex, cardio trainers, various other rehabilitation and physiotherapy devices from Baltmedika. Megango will display its BLACKROLL products for athletic activities, everyday comfort and physiotherapy. Trade fair offers insight into products and services that help stay healthy every day. Oral hygiene products, antivirals, food supplements, ayurvedic products, professional cosmetics, rehabilitation and compression products.
Happy Sunday will introduce the Latvian market to professional Swiss cosmetics for professional and home application from SwissGetal, G. Miežis Ārsts will offer latest GYNELLA series intimate care products and PHARMACERIS dermal cosmetics. Dynasty will showcase Peclavus natural and professional cosmetics for feet, hand and nail care. Visitors and exhibitors will also have opportunity to learn more about and test aloe and other organic products from the US producer Forever Living.
PRIM stand will have full range of Spanish manufacturer’s products – from orthoses for active lifestyle to everyday technical aids, for example, medical mouth guards against bruxism and grinding of teeth. Medbaltica in Ķīpsala will also offer an opportunity to find out more about new and innovative medical food supplements from Nutridrink, such as the plant-based products, state reimbursement programmes, special products for seniors and cancer patients. Products, which also come, for example, in the form of an ice-cream, will also be available for tasting.

Extensive programme of events focused on current priorities
Two-day Medbaltica 2025 trade fair will be accompanied by FREE lectures, presentations and also discussion “Physicians’ conversation” about healthcare-related podcasts and why it is important to raise public awareness on various dimensions of healthcare and how to launch a podcast, which will take place on the Open Stage. There are events focused on current trends in the field of healthcare, dental treatments, nutrition and digital transformation. Programme contains events for healthcare professionals and general public alike.
What is digital dementia and how to prevent it? How does attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) influence driving and injury risks? What needs to be done to improve public access to healthcare? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed during 19 medical conferences that will take place in Ķīpsala.
