Latvian Winner: where pets turn into champions
Ķīpsala International Expo Centre will host the cat and dog show Latvian Winner 2025 on 14-15 June. With high-class competitions and lots of exciting events, this two-day show is expected to attract more than 3,000 dogs and 200 cats from 10 different countries.
Latvian Winner 2025 will offer visitors some truly remarkable shows, breed presentations, circus performances and a chance to meet cats and dogs representing rare breeds from around the world.
Canine world: from Japanese aristocrats to speed demons
The dog section of the Latvian Winner 2025 will showcase dozens of dog breeds – from popular to rare and unique. Visitors will be able to see Japanese Terrier, a small, delicate and very lively dog that is an excellent companion for families. There will be Valencian Terrier, a dog that has surprising vigilance and wits. Taiwan Dog, a breed that combines courage and is extremely loyal to its owner, is equally as impressive, much like the Coton de Tuléar, a small white and playful dog with cotton-like coat, known for its friendliness. As for those who seek something more exotic, their interest might peak on Sloughi, gracious and powerful speed racers from North Africa, or Magyar Agars – one of the oldest hunting dog breeds in Europe.
Elegant cats: from petite divas to werewolf cats
Trade show’s cat section is also full of surprises in terms of breed diversity and rarity. For instance, the Holy Burmese cats, gentle and calm royalty with silky coat and blue eyes, Bombay cat that looks like a small, black panther and is known for its rather playful, outgoing personality, or the Singapura cat, the smallest cat breed in the world that combines both miniature frame and huge personality all in one. Likoy, or the wolf/werewolf cat, will also draw your attention immediately. This breed has rather unusual, patchy fur. It is very friendly and inquisitive.
Both trade show days will culminate with prestigious Best in Show competition, during which judges will select the prettiest and most outstanding pets on the show. It will be the moment when the best of the best will shine on the main stage.
