Guided by core European values - solidarity, human dignity, responsibility, and respect for children’s rights - the European tourism community, together with the Association of Incoming Tour Operators of Ukraine (AITO Ukraine), supported 216 Ukrainian children through summer and autumn camps across Europe in 2025.

This initiative was made possible thanks to close cooperation among European tourism associations and partners. AITO Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude to the Latvian Association of Travel Agents and Operators (ALTA), its members, and partner organisations for their commitment and solidarity. Their efforts reflect the EU’s principle of working together in times of crisis.

Thanks to this collaboration, children from different cities of Ukraine were able to enjoy a safe and joyful holiday in Latvia - laughing, playing, and simply being children, even amidst the hardships of war.
