During the event, everyone will have the opportunity to learn about the profession of a firefighter, take a look at a fire tanker and see the equipment.
Together with the firefighters, you will have the opportunity to find out how much the equipment used in firefighting and rescue operations weighs.

 
Visitors will be able to test their knowledge on safety issues - what to do if a fire breaks out, when to call 112, what is a safe holiday in nature and on the water!
The younger visitors will be informed about safety by the VUGD mascot "Guntiņš".

The activities of the State Fire and Rescue Service are related to extinguishing fires and carrying out rescue operations, ensuring the operation of the single emergency call number 112, as well as developing fire safety and civil protection requirements and monitoring compliance with them in order to prevent accidents and rescue those who are in distress.
