The gorgeous beauty festival Baltic Beauty 2023 Exhibition is coming up!

From 3 to 5 November, the latest beauty products and services, competitions for hairdressers, cosmetologists, make-up artists, manicure specialists, spa masters and other specialists, demonstrations, and consultations from local and international professionals – all this and more at the most glamorous beauty event of the year – Baltic Beauty 2023 at Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre. The competition programme will be enriched by conferences and seminars for professionals.

“I am delighted that this year there will be plenty of events to make the exhibition more glamorous and attractive for both professionals and visitors. For the first time, an international barber competition will be organised by Czech colleagues. The discussion on artificial beauty, featuring some of Latvia’s top experts, will be both valuable and captivating at the same time. And everyone will have a chance to ask questions! I am also very satisfied to see the great interest of foreign beauty professionals – professionals from at least 20 countries will speak at Baltic Beauty conferences, evaluate competitions and participate in discussions,” says Kristīne Čerņavska, Baltic Beauty Manager.

More than 300 participants from at least 13 countries will present a variety of consumer and professional beauty products and services in two halls, four conferences, more than 40 professional competitions, as well as masterclasses and seminars will take place. Exciting events on three stages – every day of the exhibition! Industry professionals will be able to find new clients, establish partnerships, sign agreements and learn about the latest industry developments at Baltic Beauty. Everyone else can watch exciting, colourful competitions, try out the latest beauty products and services, and bargain.

Beauty clinic offers, the latest products, services and various equipment, from facial cosmetics to permanent make-up, from eyelash and nail extensions to the latest equipment procedures, from oral hygiene products to hair removal and depilatory creams, will be available in the World of Beautiful Face and Body hall. The World of Beautiful Hair hall will offer professional and consumer hair cosmetics, tools for professionals, accessories and equipment for hairdressing salons. Visitors will be able to consult hairdressers and watch magnificent demonstrations by world-class masters and the latest hairstyle collections on stage. The exhibition will be enriched by a separate jewellery and accessories section, World of Jewellery, which will offer visitors original jewellery.

Topical! Debate on artificial beauty for the first time

How safe are beauty injections? How far are we willing to follow fashion trends and change our appearance without compromising our health? What precautions should we take when having beauty treatments? Is the pursuit of beauty an addiction? How not to become a victim of beauty? What is a quality cosmetic service? These and other questions will be answered in the discussion “Professionally about Beauty”, which will take place on 4 November at 12:00 on the Baltic Beauty Open Stage. Visitors will be able to ask questions to the panellists – plastic surgeon Dr Ansis Ģīlis, dermatologist and cosmetologist Dr Ināra Stepanova, cosmetologist, micropigmentation specialist Longina Koļesņikova, the author of the “GMT” idea, cosmetologist Teresa Beļkova, cosmetologist Dr Irēna Kermen, cosmetologist Dr Inga Groskopa. Influencer Adriana Miglāne will also take part in the discussion. The discussion is organised by the Latvian Association of Cosmeticians and Cosmetologists.

In the Full Fashion Look stylist competition, the model will be styled backstage (hairstyle, make-up, outfit), while on stage the stylist will have five minutes to complete the model’s look. Aim of the competition – to create an up-to-date look according to the season’s fashion trends. The Modern Bride competition invites teams (hairdresser and make-up artist) to create an up-to-date, coordinated bridal look. The competitions are organised by the image school-studio “Unastyle”.

Conferences for professionals
Baltic Beauty is not only a celebration of beauty, but also an important place for professionals to keep their finger on the pulse – to keep up with the latest trends, learn and improve their professionalism. That is why this year’s exhibition will also feature four high-profile conferences.
