Biggest Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industry Event – Tech Industry

The international exhibition of materials and technologies for industrial production, mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, supplies, tools and innovative technologies Tech Industry 2013, the year’s biggest event for industrial production in the Baltic Region, takes place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga, Latvia from 5 to 7 December.



State-of-the-art machinery, scientific achievements
“Tech Industry 2013” will present 250 companies from such countries as Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other countries taking up two exhibition pavilions to show advanced metalworking and industrial equipment in operation and showing mechanical engineering equipment and materials, air-flow and hydro technologies, industrial metalworking products, automation and control systems, hydraulic equipment, power tools, measuring equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, gas supply equipment, warehousing equipment, reloading machines, as well as other equipment, materials and technologies.

International Brokerage Event
Entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to present their business ideas and proposals, to search new partners for their new business projects during the International Brokerage Event that will take place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre. This year event will gather business experts and entrepreneurs from nine countries. The brokerage event is organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), the Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia (MASOC) and BT 1.

Events for professionals
“Tech Industry 2013” will offer a conference, seminars and discussions about topical issues in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking, electronic industry and innovative technologies that will gather a great number of businesspersons, representatives of professional organisations and governmental institutions.

Baltic Welder 2013 Competition
Professional welders from the Baltics will compete for the title of the best welder at the 7th International Welding Competition "Baltic Welder 2013". Participants will use MMA and MAG technology. Judges will evaluate their performance and the geometric parameters of welds visually and with ultrasound technology. “Baltic Welder 2013” is organised by the International Exhibition Company BT 1 in conjoint with SIA Industry Welding Equipment and the training centre BUTS.
