|Skola 2017: Interest in studying opportunities increasing! The 23rd International Education Fair “Skola 2017”, the most important event in the field of education of the year, took place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre from 24–26 February. The fair gathered 18,288 visitors or 1.4% more than a year before.
“Skola 2017” was attended by 140 exhibitors from 15 countries – Australia, Belarus, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The three-day event gave visitors a great opportunity to get information on studying opportunities in Latvia and abroad, interest education, foreign language and other training courses. Young people took advantage of consulting with teaching staff and students about new study programmes, state funded study places, study and internship exchange opportunities and extra-curricular activities. Moreover, visitors tried on various professions and attended informative lectures about opportunity to study abroad.
