There is always room for improvement in the building industry! The international Building Industry Trade Fair “Māja I 2017” (House I 2017), held from 9–12 March at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga, can be a great help. The participating companies will present developments in construction but building experts will offer a valuable advice.
"Although building industry has experienced both highs and lows over recently, professionals follow annual tradition meeting at “Māja I 2017” to share information on the latest developments and business contacts," tells Roberts Brēde, a manager of “Māja I 2017”.
"Māja I" is the barometer of the Baltic construction sector that clearly demonstrates ongoing processes – trends, current events, quality requirements, price volatility etc. The fair annually gathers at least 350 building industry companies from Eastern and Western Europe, and Asia. This year is no exception! Currently, more than 300 companies have already confirmed their participation in the fair, among them, the building industry flagships as Tenapors, Reaton, Pata kokmateriāli, Ripo International, LEBENS, SB, Husqvarna, AKB būve, Iļģuciems, Aeroc Paroc, Preiss Būve, MONIER and other.
The participants of "Māja I 2017" will offer the most appropriate products and services for the Baltic climate conditions and economic situation – construction tools and machinery, building materials, energy-efficient heating systems and environmentally friendly water treatment technologies, economical plumbing devices and the latest interior and design solutions. The fair will also offer variety of seminars and conferences. More about the fair: www.bt1.lv/bt1/maja1/.
Outlining the current topical issues in construction, Mārtiņš Straume, Chairman of the Board Latvian Association of Civil Engineers, tells about a growing popularity of three-dimensional design: "In Latvia, there is an increasing demand for both professional workforce and technology that would be able to provide such a service. “Māja I 2017” is the place to meet professional companies capable to even provide high-quality construction of airports, ports, railroads, as well as various transport and communication tunnels and linking structures."
"Māja I" is held by the International Exhibition Company BT 1.
