Thank you to all participants of SKOLA 2010! Very great thanks to our partners and all participants for their great contribution to the event’s content, as well as to all visitors whom our exhibition served a guide of study opportunities in Latvia or abroad! The exhibition SKOLA has significantly grown over a decade and a half––the number of participants and visitors been multiplied several times since the very first edition, it has evolved from a small local exhibition to an internationally renowned large-scale education event. All in all, SKOLA 2010 gathered 145 participants representing universities, high schools, colleges, vocational schools, training centres, language schools and courses, distance learning programmes and other educational projects of such countries as Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Israel, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Russia. With emphasis on industry training, the competition Young Professional 2010 for vocational students was held giving them an opportunity to compete in six professional fields––mechatronics, metalworking, woodworking, construction, hospitality and beauty care. SKOLA 2010 amassed 21,448 visitors.

The Baltic Book Fair 2011, an international exhibition for books and publishers, will occur at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre simultaneously.
