      From 25 to 28 February the 13th International Exhibition of books, publishing and printing
      LATVIAN BOOK FAIR 2010
      will be held at the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala.

      From 25 to 28 February the International Exhibition Centre in Kipsala will turn into an inspiring city of books where writers, translators, publishers and readers will meet. Kipsala will host the 13th international exhibition of books and publishing houses, Latvian Book Fair 2010.

      Attendees of the exhibition will have four days to enjoy readings performed by the authors, take part in book launching parties, meet prominent writers, see the diverse displays of books, learn the latest news about publishers, purchase books at bargain prices, and swap books with other readers at the Book Exchange Point. The fair will also be attractive for young readers because special events and presentations have been planned for them.

      A diverse range of books will be offered by Latvian publishing houses, such as Antēra Ltd, Atēna Ltd, Avots Ltd, Daugava Ltd, Dienas Grāmata Ltd, Janis Roze Publishers Ltd, Jumava Ltd, Kontinents Ltd, Latvijas Grāmata Ltd, University of Latvia Publishers, Madris Ltd, Nordik Ltd, Pētergailis Ltd, RaKa Ltd, Tapals Ltd, Zvaigzne ABC Publishers Ltd.

      This year’s choice of books will be broadened by textbooks and learning aids, taking into account their ever-growing role in obtaining a modern education. The fair will feature well-known enterprises, such as Lielvārds Ltd, the publishing house of the Turība School of Business Administration, Hansatrade Ltd.

      The exhibition is organised by the International Exhibition Company BT 1 in cooperation with Latvian Publishers Guild.
