This weekend will see a thrilling stunt riding show at Kipsala. Everybody is welcome to enjoy the shows of “Stuntfighters Team Latvia”, a team of stuntmen, who will demonstrate their proficiency at bike riding during the exhibition “Atpūta un sports 2009” on 27—28 March.

Streetbike freestyle is an attractive and modern kind of motor sports, true adrenalin increasing the heart rate and captivating the attention of spectators. “In some respect it is a classic “people’s” sport as all tricks are performed on an almost conventional street bikes. This kind of sport needs agility and skills acquired in long and wearing training sessions,” tells Martins Arents, a team manager.

The stunt riding show is going to take place in a specially equipped area nearby Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, and spectators will have an opportunity to enjoy a full view of the show from elevated seating.

A show of bikes and powerful vehicles is not a real show without pretty girls, therefore, the best Latvian cheer girls surely will add to the great show!

“Stuntfighters Team Latvia”, a holder of Latvian, Baltic, British and Polish Champion titles, consists of three stunt riders and is one of the best streetbike freestyle teams in Europe. Janis Rozitis, for instance, is one of the European Top 10 streetbike freestyle riders. The team is going to take part in the 2009 World Stunt Riding Championship that will take place in May in Romania. This prestigious competition will gather the best riders from Romania, France, the USA, Hungary, Canada, Poland and England.

The stunt riding shows will take place on 27 and 28 March at 14.00 and 16.00, weather permitting.
Spectators will also have an opportunity to watch open training sessions that within limits of possibility will be held all day long.

The exhibition for active recreation and sport “Atpūta un Sports 2009”, the exhibition of bikes and biking accessories “Motocikls 2009” and the exhibition of boats and yachts “Baltic Boat Show 2009” take place at Kipsala from 26 to 29 March.
