The Baltic premiere of Volkswagen ID.3 and Audi’s newest models
Volkswagen is entering a new automotive era with the I.D. family! Designed as an exclusively electric model, this line-up differs from the previous ones where the internal combustion engine had been replaced with an electric one. The first of the electric cars in the VW ID family is the ID.3, which has finally reached Latvia, and its Baltic-wide premiere will take place at the motor show in Riga. The VW ID.3 will be presented in its most luxurious ID.3 1st Plus version, which is abundantly equipped with the Matrix LED headlights, the ID. Light voice control system and other contemporary comfort and safety systems. This electric car allows you to travel up to 420 km on a single charge. The exhibition will also feature the modernized Tiguan SUV, the eighth-generation Golf hatchback and the latest models from Audi: the e-tron electric SUV, the A6 business class sedan and the popular Q3 and Q7 SUVs.
The only armoured minibus by RAF
The season’s newest restored vehicle is the only armoured car created by RAF based on the RAF-2203 Latvija minibus and preserved to date in its original modification as the cash-in-transit vehicle. The unique RAF car will be displayed in the stand of the Riga Motor Museum and the Antique Automobile Club of Latvia (AAK), where the premiere of a restored German 1936 Adler, still getting ready for the next antique car event season, will take place. Other antique vehicles on display here - the Czechoslovak Tatra 87, which is famous for its exemplary aerodynamics, but better known for its atypical three headlights.
This is the 50th anniversary year of VAZ or Zhiguli, therefore, there will also be three VAZ cars presented in the AAK stand. The Porsche 944, the Ford Sierra and the first generation BMW 3 series (E21) will represent the classic cars of the imported youngtimer era.
Most legendary racecars of all times
Regardless of whether it is a rally or highway racing that makes your heart beat faster, everyone will find something to feast the eyes on in the stand of the Latvia’s car buyers guide “WhatCar.lv”.
