LEADING TRADE FAIR ORGANISER IN THE BALTIC STATES

MEN should definitely come to Baltic Beauty 2019!

More and more men visit barber shops and use not only skin care products, but also make-up. That is why Baltic Beauty 2019, 8–10 November, will also have a good offer for men. It is a No-Shave November, by the way, a month of growing moustache!

“Over the last six years, the barber service has become more accessible in Latvia, and this allows men to vary the style of their beards and hair. Men are no longer afraid of growing a beard as they know where to groom it. Men do care about their looks, believe me!” tells Guntis Apkalns, a barber and co-founder of NOBLE Barbershop.

Visitors will have an opportunity to use barber’s service in the “World of Beautiful Hair” hall of “Baltic Beauty 2019” throughout all three event days. “Given the customer’s desires, head and face shape, current fashion trends, masters will recommend the most appropriate haircut and beard shape. In the Noble/Barber Mind stand, you will find everything that men need to be well groomed. There will be great products and accessories! Moreover, there will be professional barber’s service and advice available,” Guntis Apkalns points out. Visitors will have an opportunity to try out hair, beard and shaving cosmetics from Barber Mind Deluxe, Italy.

Real guys need good beards, and good beards need good care! – believes Nauris Strujevičs, an owner of The Beard Cosmetics, a Latvian-based brand, who, once enjoyed the procedure at a barber shop, got the impetus for starting his own business. Today, the Strujevičs family owns not only the cosmetics brand, but also barbershops where they use their own beauty products. The Beard Cosmetics will offer beard oils and balms made from 100% natural and ecologically certified ingredients (OF&G) in the Magnetic Latvia stand at “Baltic Beauty 2019”.

Seminars on the hair and beard style trends
On 8 November, German Saar from Estonia invites to attend the workshop “Modern men’s haircut techniques”. The recognized hairdresser will also share experience on using the low taper fade technique and proper styling for elegant and stylish men. Workshop “Men’s haircut techniques. Elongated haircuts for men” conducted by Natalia Tunikovskaya, a coach of the "Academy of Colour and Geometry", Russia, will also take place on the first day of the exhibition. The workshop will cover the rules to be followed when designing the front of the hairstyle for men’s haircuts, and a lot more interesting tips and tricks in men’s haircuts. On 9 November, the workshop “Beard - the most stylish accessory. Facial correction using beard and moustache. Haircut techniques” will be run by an internationally recognised hairdresser Igor Konon, Belarus.

TOP trends
Today’s top trends for gents include haircuts with shaved temples, sharply contoured beards of all sizes, and handlebar moustache. “I am asked about grey hair quite often. In my opinion, it is not necessary to dye beard or hair, but make it stand out with a unique cut and beard correction. We should definitely be proud of what we have been given,” says Guntis Apkalns.
The International Beauty Industry Fair “Baltic Beauty 2019” takes place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Riga, Latvia, from 8–10 November.
