On 2–4 November, Ķīpsala will host the biggest beauty industry event in the Baltics, the Baltic Beauty 2018 trade fair, where at least 335 companies from 15 countries around the world
will present the latest in beauty: cosmetic products, technologies, procedures and work methods.
At The World of Beautiful Face and Body hall
of Baltic Beauty 2018, anyone will find the right products or services for themselves: from facial care cosmetics to permanent makeup, from lash and nail extensions to the latest machine treatments and from oral hygiene products to epilation and depilation creams. This year’s trade fair will have a large representation of beauty clinics and an especially vast range of various machine technologies and manicure tools.

hall everyone will not only find the most suitable hair care and styling products for themselves, but also have a chance to consult with professional hairdressers and watch true masters in action.
“For three days, the trade fair will bring together the best of the best: leading makeup artists, cosmetologists, spa experts, hairdressers, manicure specialists and even plastic surgeons. This year, we will have six valuable conferences, 50 professional competitions, two of which are completely new, and at least 30 masterclasses,” says Kristīne Čerņavska, the manager of The World of Beautiful Face and Body section of Baltic Beauty, outlining the diverse event programme. This year, six large-scale international beauty conferences
will take place at Baltic Beauty, where internationally-renowned experts and practitioners will share their knowledge and the latest industry trends. The Aroma Power: Health, Beauty, Abundance conference will take place at the trade fair for the first time on 2 November, offering an insight into the healing secrets of essential oils, as well as their health, beauty and wellbeing benefits. Another conference to take place on the first day of the trade fair will be Multidisciplinary Approach in Acne Therapy, while the second Baltic Makeup Conference “Colour in Motion” will take place on 3 November.
Aesthetic medicine has a very large scope: from cosmetology and various machine technology methods to plastic surgery. What are the current challenges and trends in aesthetic medicine? Find out on 3 November in Ķīpsala at the interdisciplinary conference Aesthetic Medicine organised by the Latvian Medical Association.
On 4 November, Ķīpsala will host the Baltic Beauty 2018 Eyelash and Eyebrow Conference with the participation of world-renowned lectors from America, England, Korea, Great Britain, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. For instance, Kei Kim (South Korea) will speak of eyelash extension technologies, Tatiana Bilolovets (Ukraine) will explain factors affecting the lifespan of lash extensions, while Mydygma Nimbueva (USA) will reveal hacks for creating the FeatherFly style and a natural eye look.

Baltic Beauty 2018 will feature 50 professional beauty industry competitions
, where both new talents and experienced specialists will demonstrate their skills, dexterity and originality. Makeup Art Competition with the theme “Breathless”, The Battle of Makeup Artists and the 14th International Stage Makeup Competition will all take place on 2 November.
There will also be two brand new competitions: Classic Evening Makeup Competition on 2 November and Combined Machine Manicure Competition on 4 November. After a short break, the Body-Painting Competition returns to Baltic Beauty with the theme “The Four Elements”.
Beginning on the first day and continuing on 3 November, will be the XIII Baltic Spa Championship, where spa specialists will compete for the title of The Best Spa Specialist 2018. The Baltic Beauty Cup 2018 lash extension competition will also be taking place on 3 November.
