"Environment and Energy 2017" has been successfully completed!

The International Power Industry, Energy Efficiency, Infrastructure and Environmental Technology Fair "Environment and Energy 2017" held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Riga, Latvia, closed on 22 October. The fair was attended by 96 companies and organisations from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Canada and Sweden that presented their latest and best offers.

During the four days, October 19–22, visitors had the opportunity to see environmentally-friendly wastewater treatment systems and energy efficient heating equipment, learn about waste sorting, get the news in the field of energy generation and transmission, how to reduce energy consumption and saving possibilities. The participating companies also presented well-equipped utilities, state-of-the-art green technologies and other useful solutions for households and businesses that care about the environment in the long run. In addition to the above, the participants offered information on new studies and inventions.

Special attention was paid to the environmentally friendly modes of transportation! The E-Mobility stand showcased electric cars, tricycles and bikes, and the new Toyota Mirai featuring hydrogen fuel cell technology. SkyWay, in turn, amazed visitors with the presentations and exciting seminars on the future of urban air mobility!

All stakeholders had an opportunity to attend two Riga Energy Days 2017 events held by the Riga Energy Agency, as well as to discuss the latest developments in the sector in the stand of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (MEPRD).

Total attendance in four daysreached 19,786 visitors.
