See hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, lilacs and anemones, buds, sprouts and other messengers of spring in colourful floristry works, watch tough competition and fabulous floristry shows devoted to wedding at "Nature Expo 2017", 28–30 April, Kipsala!
The Joy of Spring floristry competition and exhibition, the trend show of bridal decorations and the shows of master florists held by the Latvia Florist Association (LFA) will complement the programme of „Nature Expo" for the second year in a row.
"We have created a small festivity for florists and invite everybody to enjoy it with us! Spring will be omnipresent across the venue as we currently develop the competition area design in collaboration with our cooperation partners and the leading schools of floristry. Let yourself be surprised by floral designs created by children and young people, and be impressed by works of the Baltics’ leading master florists!" the Chair of LFA Board Gunita Lazdiņa told. The competition will bring together children, pupils and young people learning this trade yet. For the winner’s title will be fighting 15 children in three groups: grade 1–4, grade 5–9 and grade 10–12. All stakeholders are invited to "Nature Expo 2017" to watch the competition that will take place from 13.00–15.00 on 28 April and the exhibition of works on 29 and 30 April. The competition promises to be very tough since the participants will receive information on the task and materials to be used only a moment before the competition. Spectators will be surprised at how creative, inspirational and technically sophisticated works children and young people can make!
The panel of judges will include master florists and the winners of international and local floristry competitions – Agra Maulāne, Baiba Grīnberga and Ginta Nordmane. Bridal decorations
Floristry shows taking place from 11.30–17.00 on 29 April will introduce the latest trends in wedding and bridal decorations presented by Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian florists, including such outstanding masters as Aija Žagariņa Agra Maulāne, Gaiva Mičule Indra Jaundāldere, Elita Vīna, Ieva Ģērmane, Evija Apermane and others. Feel the spring, draw ideas for wedding design, talk with master florists and find your master florist! The fair offers seeds, plants, soil improvers, watering systems, gazebos, greenhouses, garden equipment, tools ... and many more products! There will also be a craft fair and attractions for kids.
