Auto 2015 Motor Show to open already this week!

The biggest automotive event in the Baltic States – International Motor Show “Auto 2015” – is to take place at Kipsala International Exhibition centre this weekend, from 10–12 April.

The International Motor Show as always will present the newest car models, some of which will have Latvian or Baltic premieres there, and exotic vehicles – from splendid tuning projects to fully restored classical cars.

The section of brand new passenger cars will showcase lots of brands; however, we have to mention some of local premieres, such as the Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X that are technically related, visually different but so popular in the crossover segment of automotive market. Moreover, it will be a debut of the French-built Renault Kadjar SUV, a counterpart for the market leader Nissan Qashqai.

Enthusiasts of big SUVs will be the first in the Baltic States to see the new Kia Sorento. The fans of more prestigious brands, in turn, will have an opportunity to see the new Audi A6, BMW X6 and the Ford Focus ST sport modification that boasts good handling characteristics.

“Auto Exotica” is the brightest and loudest part of "Auto 2015" and this year it will offer a variety of surprises. One of the brightest show stars will be the Ultima GTR, a British supercar that is allowed for use on public roads. It weights only 995 kg and is capable of developing 700 hp; moreover, it surpassed the Ferrari FXX with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel in the Top Gear circuit.

Power and speed are not the only elements of the vehicles showcased at "Auto Exotica 2015". There you will also see the world’s shortest Volvo car that looks quite funny, as well as traditional low-riders and hot rods.

The world of traditional tuning will be represented by the Audi TT RS modified by MTM, a well-known Czech tuning company and the fantastic Chevrolet Corvette and Dodge Challenger SRT modifications by Lithuanian tuning experts.

"Auto Exotica 2015" is the place to meet the popular drifter Gvido Elksnis and to see the BMW M3 adjusted for drifting and the Citro?n C2 for stunt riding ? a car that rides on two wheels.

Apart of a bright and magnificent car show, all visitors will have an opportunity to get acquainted with a vast assortment of racing and tuning tools, to get ideas and advice on car rebuilding process and to gain motivation to try their hand in motorsports. "Auto 2015" includes other thematic sections such as “Transport Engineering” for commercial and special vehicles and “Auto Mechanics” for workshop equipment, automotive repair tools and auto accessories.
