“Auto Exotica 2015” to offer tuning masterpieces from across Europe!
“Auto Exotica 2015” is the most amazing and the loudest part of the International Motor Show “Auto 2015” to be held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga, Latvia from 10-12 April. Visitors will have an opportunity to see and enjoy yet unseen tuning projects from across Europe and a very special car - the Ultima GTR that surpassed the Ferrari FXX with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel!
Ultima GTR - even faster than Schumi’s Ferrari
The brightest star of "Auto Exotica" is the UK-manufactured Ultima GTR featuring quite impressive specifications: 700 hp, 995 kgs, 0-100 kmph in 2.6 seconds and a maximum speed of over 385 kmph. This is a racing bolide or formula performance, but the Ultima GTR is a sports car allowed on public roads. Moreover, it is available at quite a reasonable price.
This car has established a series of verified records, for example, the fastest 0–160 kmph– 0 kmph time -9.4 seconds, beating such stars as the Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg and Ferrari Enzo.
According to the manufacturers, one of its most impressive lap records - one minute and 9.9 seconds - was established by the Stig during the world famous BBC TV show "Top Gear". To a great surprise of Jeremy Clarkson and his team, it unexpectedly surpassed the far most expensive and adjusted for this track Ferrari FXX with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel. The world's shortest Volvo,hot rods and low riders from Scandinavia
Peter Oskarson, a longtime partner for “Auto Exotica” and an enthusiast rebuilder of Volvo cars from Sweden, this time is going to show off a number of surprises. Controversial but undeniably amusing is his shortest in the world Volvo car. Moreover, Mr Oskarson is going to display several low riders andhot rods, the most striking among them will be the fully renovated and rebuilt Volvo Amazon of the 1960s.
Lithuania's leading tuning clubs "Hotroad LT" and "Tuningteam" commands will be represented at the show by a great number of such familiar but substantially rebuilt sports cars as the Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Challenger SRT and modified, more suitable for everyday cars like the VW Golf.
The tuning company MTM from the Czech Republic will bring to the show the tuned version of Audi TT RS. Its maximum speed exceeds 300 kmph. The MTM Company is the developer of the most powerful Audi modifications like Brabus thatis engaged in rebuilding the Mercedes-Benz cars.
Riga Motor Museum presents vehicles of the Soviet era
While the showrooms of Riga Motor Museum is under reconstruction and not accessible for visitors “Auto Exotica 2015” will offer the exhibition of the renewed special-purpose vehicles of the Soviet era - militia, ambulance and other special service vehicles.
Meet Gvido Elksnis - one of the best drifters in the Northern Europe!
"The car can drift, turn somersaults and even ride on two wheels," tells Gvido Elksnis, a well-known professional drifter and multiple champion, whom after a break of several years you will have an opportunity to meet in the Gymkhana booth. The drift school will display the racing cars of our young talented drivers - the BMW for tarmac racing and the BMW M3 for drifting. There will also be the Citroen C2 for stunt riding - a car that rides on two wheels.
