Global manufacturing giants at Tech Industry 2023

Ķīpsala Expo Centre will host the International mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics and new technology fair Tech Industry 2023 from 30 November to 2 December. Equipment manufacturers from all over the world will showcase their newest equipment, tools and technologies at the fair. This is a unique opportunity to see scientific and manufacturing novelties all in one place.


Tech Industry 2023 will bring together more than 270 companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, ASV, Ukraine, Hungary, China and other world countries. Latvia, Czech Republic, Finland and Ukraine will bring their national stands to present the solutions created by national manufacturers. Whereas Latvia’s most recent industry novelties from local manufacturers will be presented at the Innovation stand.

The most current and diverse metalworking, metal manufacturing, mechanical engineering, construction, automation, electronics, electrical machinery, car repair, road and bridge construction, shipbuilding, railway and plane construction, farming, water management, heating and other industrial solutions will be available all in one place.

‘Tech Industry 2023 brings even more new and novel equipment and tools for industrial manufacturing and affiliated service sectors, as well as all manufacturing companies looking to modernise and streamline their manufacturing processes and generate savings. Fair is the place where everyone will be able to get acquainted with newest products from manufacturers and supply service companies. It is also a platform for expanding professional networks and finding new cooperation partners,’ Kardijs Broks, Director of the Tech Industry, underlines.

Impressive demonstrations of equipment and technologies

Over the three days of fair, Ķīpsala will become a place where European and international equipment manufacturers will reveal their newest metalworking and industrial manufacturing, mechanical engineering and welding machines, electrical tools, airflow technologies and hydro technologies, metalworking products, automation and control systems, hydraulic equipment, measuring devices, electronics and electrical devices, gas distribution, warehouse equipment, occupational safety solutions, packaging and other materials, loading and unloading equipment, and much more.

Latvian manufacturers
This year Latvia’s national stand, created in collaboration with Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia, will be comprised of 13 biggest local manufacturers that will bring a wide range of products and services – from various materials processing technologies and parts manufacturing to designing and construction of complex equipment for various sectors of economy. Energy company ’’JAUDA’’ will showcase various energy solutions, “FILTRI” will present different filters, ’’JGT solution’’ will bring professional sheet metal processing and welding solutions, ’’Poliprodest’’ will display polyurethane part manufacturing solutions, ’’PrintPack Service’’ will exhibit technical plastic production possibilities, while ’’VRV Trading’’ will display metal wire mesh and perforated sheet products. ’’PERUZA’’ will present automated and robot-assisted equipment and manufacturing line design options, and ’’KnK Mefab’’ will showcase various metal products made of sheets and profile tubes. ’’Preco’’ has vast expertise in grain processing technologies, whereas ’’Silkeborg Spaantagning Baltic’’ will consult on CNC milling and turning solutions, ’’Prometal Group’’ will present a diverse range of metalworking services, with ’’WeMps’’ offering equipment design solutions. ’’ZIPPY VISION” has an exciting computer vision and artificial intelligence-based equipment manufacturing applications that will also be displayed during the Tech Industry 2023.

Professional events
Tech Industry 2023 offers various events focused on current mechanical engineering, metalworking, electronics and new technology development trends covered by a variety of businesses, professional associations and public authorities. On 30 November, “iDEAHUB”, a business incubator of the Transport and Telecommunication Institute, will host a closing event at the Ķīpsala Expo Centre for a project during which 13 teams of future professionals worked on their innovative startup project ideas. Innovative ideas include, for example, public transport passenger tracking app, 3D-printed plant pot with automated sprinkling system, a smart energy project for hydro turbine with adjustable blades and many other developments. The prize tally of EUR 8,000 will be split between three winning student teams. “Latvian Welder 2023” finals, organised by BUTS training centre, is another exciting event that will take place during the fair.

For many companies Tech Industry is a platform for launching their newest products and services. Presentations will include “Industrial heat pumps, cooling and refrigeration systems” and a conference “Sustainability by Monitor ERP” on 30 November. On 1 December, energy company “JAUDA” will host a workshop for design experts, whereas SIA “Rolands Moisejs” invites everyone to attend “Smart Factory” and “Innovative Tube Design” workshops.
