Beauty experts, celebrities and journalists meet at a media event preparing for Baltic Beauty 2023

On 25 October, a media event was held at Pullman Riga Old Town to provide information about the diverse offer of Baltic Beauty 2023, the extensive programme of events and the latest news in the industry.

The event was attended by:

Irina Jevsejeva, Head of the Baltic Beauty Hair Beauty Section
Renāte Reinsone, President of the Latvian Association of Beauticians and Cosmetologists (LKKA)
Ilze Aizsilniece, President of the Latvian Medical Association
Irina Ronīte, competition organiser, head of Dalila Beauty School
Vija Krūmiņa, representative of the Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists

The buzz and festive atmosphere of Baltic Beauty 2023 could already be felt at the media event. Katrīna Gupalo, an outstanding singer, pianist, and composer, pleased the audience with a special musical treat.

Una Bernatoviča, a well-known stylist and the head of Unastyle Make-Up School and Studio, told us about make-up artist (including face make-up artist) competitions and demonstrated the latest party make-up. Singer and “X Factor” contestant Alise Haijima took the role of a model.

Raitis Reteris, one of Latvia’s most experienced barbers, talked about the barbers competition. His model was the well-known DJ Gustavito.

Eyelash artist Margarita Balčuniene created stylish eyelashes for the well-known racing driver Ketija Birzule, which would be a perfect fit for a New Year’s Eve party.

Farouk’s colourist and technologist Konstantīns Ignatovs introduced the attendees to an innovative colour mixing device CHI Color Master Factory, which can mix any shade from 3000 colour formulas in a minute using just 10 colours and two bottles of oxidant. Model: Jūlija Ločmele, Farouk.

The Baltic Beauty festival already starts next week!
From 3 to 5 November, Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre will host Baltic Beauty 2023, the largest beauty industry event in the Baltics, where more than 300 companies from 13 countries will present the latest innovations –products, technologies, procedures and working methods. This year’s exhibition will feature four valuable conferences, more than 40 professional competitions, as well as masterclasses and seminars. The extensive competition programme will be complemented by the international barber competition Barber Battle Vol. 1 Latvia, organised by the Czech competition organisers. The manicure competitions return to the exhibition on an unprecedented scale – with participants and jury members from more than 20 countries! For the first time, Baltic Beauty will host an open and exciting discussion on artificial beauty, where professionals will answer questions from the audience.
